Statistically speaking; my laptop
Its weird how everything was what we wanted, what would have won E3, just lausy.

Like why an animal crossing party game and not a new animal crossing?

Why this weird metroid spin off?

why a crossover instead of strait paper mario?

This would be the filler announcements, or stuff for normal directs.

It was entertaining I guess though, they are good at making directs entertaining.

Well

That was underwhelming
Nintendo has been focusing on games that come out this year.... that's not how you do E3, though. E3 is about reveals.

Sony is not afraid to show games we won't see for the next 3 years, lol.

Paper Jam was amazing, and I've wanted a Metroid Federation spin off for years. I just wish it was more serious and on Wii U.

Oh gosh, the new Zelda kinda has a similar concept to a game I'm working on..... well.... partly at least. I'm pretty happy that Toon Link is back though.

That was the worst thing to ever happen since E3 2008.

Half of it was spent on some Japanese thing. The other on developer stories.

What the heck was that.

Well that could have been better. To much focus on mario and delveloper interviews.
Should have kept it to strictly games.

I thought it was okay.
Maybe it's because I didn't expect it to be the greatest thing to have ever happened to mankind, but I liked it just fine.

The Mario tribute was painful. They should've ended with a bang, they didn't. It was too long.

Star Fox also looks REALLY good, now that I'm watching it on the Tree House.

No F-Zero announcement for its 25th....

Please, let me mourn. It was the perfect opportunity and they indeed passed it up. Why did I ever have any hope...:crying:

Wow who would've thought after last year's stellar event it'd turn out like this. We only got 2 new Wii U games and they weren't show stoppers. They give us a Metroid unrelated to Metroid, an Animal Crossing Wii U that's not Animal Crossing, and games that we already saw in last year's Digital Event and Directs.

The high points were Star Fox, Triforce, and Paper M&L. It was still entertaining from a fan perspective, but this is not how you get people to buy your system. I'm sorry Nintendo, I love the crap out of you, but you could've handled this a lot better.

Ya know...

Now that I think about it.

It really was okay. A pretty good direct.

Just underwhelming compared to Sony and other E3s.

Considering all those games look like must-buys and Microsoft and Sony showed between them 3 interesting games (1 of which was a Kickstarter, and another was a mashup of old games), I'd say it's not blind fanboyism.

Tbh the "Metroid Prime" announcement ruined E3 for me. Metroid's my favorite franchise, and they showed nothing with that game that has me convinced it's Metroid in anything more than title.

Which actually brings me to another point, which is...the "Prime" trilogy is over? Hunters was sort of a spin-off in the middle so it's whatever, but the reason for entitling it "Metroid Prime" is because it was all about Metroid Prime (who then transformed into Dark Samus), and it's dead and all the Phazon is gone? It seems like they just slapped that on for brand recognition. (Edit: Unless, I suppose, it deals with the GF's involvement in that period. Metroid hasn't been played out linearly. But I sort of doubt that will happen.)

That wouldn't be a big deal in and of itself, just a minor annoyance. But we saw no Samus, and she is Metroid. And if Other M and Fusion have shown us anything by now, it's that the Galactic Federation is a bunch of *****. I have no desire to play as their footsoldiers. Like, honestly, I would've preferred no Metroid announcement at all. I may be overreacting, maybe it'll be more Metroid-like than it looks, but for now I'm extremely disappointed. I don't play Metroid games because I like shooters, and that's all this game looks like.

Nothing else really hyped me either, though Star Fox Zero definitely looks cool.

Would have loved a new Kid Icarus.

Honestly, this would have been a bit disappointing even if it was a random direct and not E3. There was no urgency, you KNOW Nintendo has stuff in development, but they would rather show 2015 games that we already know about.

I love Mario, I swear, but the tribute hurt me physically and emotionally. Mario Maker though is still the best thing to happen to Mario in a long time.

Also, PAPER JAM. It looks more like M&L than Paper Mario so I can dig it.
