Frankly I've never played Animal Crossing so I don't care, there was a 3DS one announced too, as well as Amiibo for AC fans. Metroid looked alright but I'm not a huge fan of that either.Like Metroid Blast Ball and Animal Crossing Party?
I'd be more compelled if this came alongside something else, or after we got a revival, but the last thing we got was Other M, five years ago, and it got very mixed fan reception. The last time we got a handheld Metroid was what, 2006? The treatment Metroid has been getting in recent years (read: pretty much no treatment at all) made me pretty much lose hope in the franchise, and they really should've built up to a spin-off that will likely contain no traditional Metroid elements, even if that was just with a Super Metroid remake on the 3DS or something.I like the concept actually, especially if they take the approach where you see the Prime games through the GF's eyes.
Maybe Samus is this cool hero that you all want a fleeting glimpse of or something.
This game has potential, but it could also flop the hardest.
Depends on the plot.
Oh, right. My bad, I forgot about that. He's counting Hyrule Warriors.
I can agree with some of your points, but not this. Not even a little bit.Star Fox was literally just Star Fox. Nothing that new. Gameplay looked meh.
Heck yeah! He was one of my favorite lets players. The moment Shenmue 3 was announced, I immdeiately thought of him.You know Scottish Duck.... Dude that's amazing :D
I'm sorry, you're right Tenis, Animal Party and Metroid Striker are the futureWho are you?!?!? I don't know who you are!!!!!

It's sad but true. I wasted 50 minutes of my life hoping for something good outside of Star Fox (great to see Platinum Games is developing it) and I was bitterly disappointed. I think I am done with the Wii U games chronologically speaking after 2015. Only upcoming games for me are Star Fox, Yoshi's Wooly World, and maybe Xenoblade Chronicles X.That... was pretty bad. They basically just showed us a bunch of stuff we already knew about and a few new spin-off games. New Star Fox was cool to get a look at, but we don't need new trailers for things like Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Maker or Yoshi's Woolly World when they don't announce anything new about those games, it's just filler content that'd fit better in a regular Direct. Also, how about you revive Metroid first before you make spin-offs and treat it like an established franchise? That Federation thing was nothing but a slap in the face. What a shame given how good the past two E3 events were, this wasn't even as good as some of the regular Directs we've gotten.
The most hype announcements this E3 came with the new Smash content and Earthbound Beginnings, both which were outside the Digital Event. Shameful.
?I'm sorry, you're right Tenis, Animal Party and Metriod Striker is the future
I will be honestly surprised if the NX replaces Wii U.If it wasn't for some of the leaks, then Nintendo's E3 presentation would have been much more hype. You guys are disappointed because we got spoiled and knew about stuff ahead of time. Hyrule Warriors 3DS would have been incredible. Triforce Heroes alone looks great. If we didn't know about Roy/Ryu being released along with Lucas, it would've been more hype too (sorry). Wii U platform is lackluster, but I have a feeling NX will replace it in the very near future. I wouldnt be surprised if Zelda Wii U will be released on NX and Wii U at the same time.
Wait, where is she?Sticks honestly confirmed for Rio 2016.
This is shocking to me.
Near the end.Wait, where is she?

It's two things. First up are the leaks. Next is that fact that Nintendo are sticking to games that are releasing soon. That was...an odd choice. They obviously could have thrown a few trailers our way, but they instead decided to talk about a Yoshi game that already released in one region for 10 minutes. If it wasn't for some of the leaks, then Nintendo's E3 presentation would have been much more hype. You're right, would you please enlighten me what was the meaning of the first post, I don't get it then?
I literally said nothing about those games in that post. Or, you know, anything about any games.
I think "it actually resembles a Metroid game in more than title" is kind of an important, unspoken piece of wishing for a new game in the franchise. If you're happy with E3 and all that's great; that in no way affects how much I am allowed to be upset because my favorite franchise has received what is likely to be garbage. Again.guys **** off with this "its a spinoff so it dosent count" **** you asked for a metroid game you asked for a paper mario game you didnt say they couldnt be what they are
Oh I see her now.@ AreJay25 Playing Archery.
Trust me, I was very hype over the Smash direct, despite the spoilage. The only other thing that got spoiled was the amiibos for 8-bit Mario and Animal Crossing. If it wasn't for some of the leaks, then Nintendo's E3 presentation would have been much more hype. okay let me give you a reason to be happy its metroid PRIME spinoff....other m is no longer CANONI think "it actually resembles a Metroid game in more than title" is kind of an important, unspoken piece of wishing for a new game in the franchise. Like, this is an important message in general. You being okay with something / being upset because your fav didn't get a show at E3 in no way affects how other people should feel about things.
I don't want any new Metroid characters in Smash.hey guys you want a new metroid character in smash then they ahve to MAKE a game where you dont play as samus dont they?!
As I said before, it's unlikely this has anything to do with the actual Prime series and it's far more likely that it was put on there for brand name recognition because of how wildly successful the Prime series was.okay let me give you a reason to be happy its metroid PRIME spinoff....other m is no longer CANON
I was just joking around, since I've never seen you post in here and you were not part of the old leak group. We are a pretty close knit community and you are a new face so I was just having some fun. You're right, would you please enlighten me what was the meaning of the first post, I don't get it then
