Tbh it looks like a close ranged attack. So it would be pretty different.

Or... anyone who has played any fighting games besides Tekken/Virtua Fighter/Soul Calibur because all of the other fighting games use these inputs (even Mortal Kombat uses SF inputs now)

I know a LOT of people who only play Tekken/Virtua Fighter/Soul Calibur (myself included) because they couldn't understand/didn't want to take the time to understand the combat system of Street Fighter. Don't know what it is, but I've never liked it.

Maybe, but I have enough money for Ryu right now (assuming downloadable newcomers aren't more expensive), so it's not my top priority.

Though since Ryu and Roy are all done, they're probably coming tomorrow as well, which would make sense. Then they'd just need to announce Wolf to keep the hype going until his release date/next character announcement.

Anyone know if Kirby's Hadouken works like Ryu's? Can you quarter circle it or is he stuck with the neutral B one?

From what I saw in the stream, he can only perform the regular one. When crediar was trying it out, you could see him doing a bunch of random turning around, which was him most likely trying to perform the fiery one. All that ended up coming out were side specials and standard hadoukens.

Anyway, I'm quite latem but I was paintballing all day and it took forever for me to catch up to this thread! This is all amazing! I love the stages, music, models, and gameplay! I'm so pumped! Brought a 20 dollar eshop card for this!. Can't wait for tomorrow! And calling it now, a vet and another newcomer in the digital event.

There's no way it's not all releasing either tomorrow or this week. Nintendo has to have seen the file leak of Roy, Ryu, etc. from the 3DS update a month or so ago, so they know people will hack to see the contents of an update.
