It's giant robots beating the living crap out of other giant robots. Simple, yet efficient (even Bayformers can have that utterly stupid charm to it).

I mean, a lot of Platinum reps were playing up the Nintendo Direct for E3 and this isn't on Wii U so I'm kind-of doubting this is the only thing being done. Also they said the game would be revealed on Monday, didn't they? And Monday is when the E3 Nintendo Treehouse starting up... so that just leads more to a "It's going to be on Wii U or 3DS" for the game. Also reminder that there are multiple teams at Platinum. The team that made the Legend of Korra game isn't the same team as Wonderful 101 or Bayonetta; so... this could just be a side project they were hired for.

The good:
I almost thought your avatar would have meant something. But I'd loved to see Pichu return in Smash 3DS & Wii U myself. I love the idea of having a deadly joke character come in (and this time done right). Plus I enjoyed playing him in Melee.

Not quite, he still shares more moves with Marth (throws, pummel, aerials aside from down, d-tilt, etc.) then Wolf does with Fox, it's more along the lines of Captain Falcon and Ganondorf based on first impressions.
Actually Ryu's palette choices are really good because they are his legit alternate colors. I know everyone was expecting Ken and Akuma colors but, Sakurai is actually staying super true to Ryu's character with these alts.

That's fair, I was hoping for a red GI palette I guess.
Interesting idea, but what about his Neutral B assuming that it stays the same? I really doubt that would work as a kill move... I think it works best for racking up hits to make his opponents easier to kill. I think his Neutral B would need to change. Probably his Up B as well.
