I just don't see why they should be making a Galaxy 3 when they could instead making a fresh new 3D Mario.

I could go for a new 3D Mario in the style of 64, Sunshine, Galaxy etc. Don't get me wrong, 3D World was amazing. But nothing beats the feeling I get when playing Sunshine.

I personally prefer it to both Galaxy games. Always have. I love how it felt like an accompaniment to Luigi's Mansion too.

SM64 has had a ton of rereleases and VC releases, and the Galaxy's are both still fairly new, so Sunshine is overdue.

Most of the people who hated on it have moved on, and people who were really young when it first came out are now members of the gaming community.

A lot of Gamecube-era games that used to get a lukewarm reception are now beloved. It's not just Sunshine. I remember Mario Kart: Double Dash!! getting labeled one of the worst Mario Kart games a lot last decade. Now I hear nothing but good things about it. Pretty much all the Wind Waker hate has vanished, too.

And while it's not Gamecube, Majora's Mask is another prime example.

In terms of predictions, the only things I am confident about is Smash DLC and Xenoblade X release date. Other than that I have no clue, except for the confirmed stuff like Mario maker and Star Fox.

Sunshine is my favorite 3D Mario game, I love how it felt like a cohesive world rather than a bunch of random floating blocks.

Mario used to always jump into new things, the first four games were all very different, and 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy all have a distinct feel, but then Galaxy 2 was basically an expansion pack and "New" Super Mario Bros. FLUDDing the library made things stale. I don't understand why people want the same thing a third time rather than something new, it's weird to me.


Also personally, the linear 3D platformers feel too restrictive to me and I've been dying for a more open 64 style game.

Wii U is worst since the models and stages got ripped out and is placed in Brawl mods especially PM. But that's easy to do out. 3DS is harder to tell but can easily tell as fake

Maybe we should make leak rules...

Thou shalt include both screens for 3DS and Wii U (whenever possible).
Thou shalt hold thy arms steady.
Thou shalt try to properly frame thy leak.
Thou shalt include photograph or movie evidence whenever possible.
