How would you handle Pokemon Trainer? Give him a new third Pokemon to replace Charizard?

Nope. There's a specific pattern among the Squirtle/Ivysaur/Charizard trio that literally no other Pokémon can work in Charizard's stead and make any lick of sense.

If it's going to be like Brawl where he has Squirtle and Ivysaur, Charizard's going to have to be retooled back into the lineup.

Have him as a stand alone summon character?

Lost me at "bring Squirtle and Ivysaur back as standalone fighters", but having the Trainer be in the background while they are standalone as well as the background for Charizard is a bit of an interesting idea.

Maybe even have him keep his Brawl gimmick, but allow him to chose from ANY three Pokemon in the game, although the Pokemon would obviously lose their down b and be subject to the stamina gimmick.

Too many issues with this to even list.

Maybe something I haven't thought of?

New team of three that has synergy with each other.
One that doesn't necessarily have to be limited by the same exact pattern as the Brawl trio (that resulted in the horribly executed type effectiveness gimmick) and features a full set of Pokémon that either would never be considered as standalone fighters or would equally be seen fit to go solo in the event that something like what happened in Smash 4 (Trainer concept done away with) has to happen again.

After all, the Trainer was the character. His Pokémon were merely the playable components of him.

Just bring Squirtivysaur as stand alone fighters. Jigg's in, and the only reason people don't bat an eye is "O12!!!!"

Like some people in the thread already said, the mountains look like they are shaped differently, and the water texture looks much better in the leak.

SMRPG has merchandise and according to you, with like 5 reviews, "big companies" like it more. And because you don't see Paper Mario reviewed much, it instantly means it isn't as good as SMRPG. It's the first, right? So it's gotta be the one that's it. Marth wasn't the first Fire Emblem protag. Ephiriam was the first Fire Emblem protag, so where's he?

Geno is 3rd party. He gets barely any votes compared to Paper Mario or, pretty much anybody! He was in one game. Paper Mario has been in four that have, collectively, sold over 7 million copies.

Without getting in too deep as to sound like I'm bashing GameFAQs, trolls are essentially an accepted thing on GameFAQs because IP bans don't exist and very few forums have a level minimum. As a result, the Daisy fandom's vocal members comprise of vocal trolls. As a result, Daisy is pretty much reviled because people associate it with aforementioned troll users.

When it gets right down to it, the biggest reaction would be "No Waluigi/Paper Mario?!", but it's not like Daisy wouldn't have unique qualities. She has the same moveset potential Waluigi has. It's less about the character and more about her fans.

No I just find it funny how if you say your a fan of Daisy they think that your trying to effectively make everything about her. Daisy's fanbase outside of Gamefaqs is pretty reasonable. If you say you don't like Daisy, most won't care.

I honestly would like to have Daisy and Waluigi, not one or the other, both. Daisy for the Mario sports rep, since it fits with her tomboy personality, and Waluigi as the Mario Party rep, cause in Mario Party you troll your friends all the time, and Waluigi is a massive troll.

People have pointed out that Tink looks a little big on the stage, which is either a clever ploy on the part of the faker or a legitimate point in favor of it: A ported Great Bay would probably be like other ported Melee stages that appear smaller, or cramped. I'm not sure if the stages were reduced in size or the models of the characters increased.

Clearly fake, because that is not how they show new stages for Smash in Directs.

The Great Bay leak strikes me as fake (among other potential reasons) because the moon is the same as the original stage whereas the model in MM3D is noticeably different. It's not necessarily guaranteed that they would change it, but it seems likely that they would use the new one.
