It's complicated. He's not officially registered, and not officially protected, but any company can put the TM symbol on anything they want, to show they intend to protect the character. I still think it doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

Honestly, I feel like some of this stuff should have been in the base game. I know it's free but I think it's really weird so much stuff is coming AFTER release. It feels like we're in a constant Beta. I haven't even been able to play the game since the release for. . .reasons. . . but i just dont like how many things are being added so late into the game to the point there has been as much content added as there was at release :/

I can't wait for it! The way they've been handling content for Splatoon is great(though private matches with friends should of been in there to begin with). I hope a future update includes a tonuranment mode.

That AZ strip would make a bit more sense if the stage weren't primarily based off of the EarthBound Beginnings Magicant.

Yeah true, as stated below, I'm pretty sure they wanted interest to stay which is why they held it back.
I agree, i think they wanted to maintain interest so they this stuff backed. Still glad it has this though.
I think they want to keep the game's interest. But those have been in the base game.

Can Mega Man only copy Robots? or can he copy people too? I'd imagine only robots, but fun idea to think about it why he doesn't copy in Smash. This might explain why.

Yeah, I assume he can only copy from robots that have similar architecture to him. When he defeated fortress bosses, he never copied their powers and they aren't built the same way as Robot Masters are.

I've been playing through Pokémon Black recently and am finally getting to appreciate all the Gen V Pokémon I never tried out in White 2. Ferrothorn is so ridiculous.

Nope. Me and Naoshi (as he mentioned) were there.
What's more, while Sega trademarked Sonic Runners in 2014, apparently it wasn't known until November 2014...well after this leak had surfaced.

I agree, but, honestly, I never saw a reason to wait. We knew they'd release all/most the extra stuff over time by early august. That's just two (maybe 2.5) months of not playing a fun game and, arguably, falling behind in terms of skill. Also in terms of perks since at least two splatfest will be missed by that time.
Of course there are things in life that may make one wait, but as far as the actual game is concerned I just didnt see a reason to wait. I had fun in the beginning and I'm just having more fun as content is released.
