Since I'm in a weird Shaq mood today, I'll also share the magic that is his victory animation:

He just does a lil jig because why not

Pieri gif is for when it's more than weeping. Also, a game was put on Greenlight, and got pulled. 3 times. They wasted 200 dollars to put it up. Digital Homicide, die in a fire
Why did it get pulled and what game?

And wasn't Jim Sterling the guy who accused Mario Maker of being racist?

The company claims it only got negative feedback because Jim Sterling decided to play one game. He only made a video on it the third time it was on greenlight
Which I always found hilarious. It's like their entire life has become about hating Jim Sterling. Never before have I seen a company so obsessive about one-upping some guy on the Internet.

Is it bad that I saw "Nairo" trending on Twitter and immediately thought of Smash and ZSS? Apparently there's a cyclist in the Tour de France named Nairo. Who knew? Maybe I'm just too caught up in competitive Smash. Embarrass

They called Jim out on being sexist because he held a 3 foot dildo in an episode ignoring how Jim's bi. Jim's response was 'That was a lot longer than three feet mate'

I think it was less how he's bi and more that it wasn't Six Nights at Suzie's.
There's a difference between a vulgar, yet joke and abuse.

Do any of you have family members you just....wish you didn't have to put up with for appearances?

Sorry, Facebook inspired moment.

How about that Smash Brothers?

I think I'll have a hard time reading this, usually I'm an emotionless brick but my mother needs a hearing aid, so it'll hit closer to home. The fact there's a TearJerker on Tv Tropes and no Funny page makes me prepare myself
It's a very depressing, but necessary, subject matter that should be addressed, but yeah it is emotionally difficult. Honestly, the only thing that even slightly, just slightly, amuses me about the manga is there is a character who is a Steven Universe look-alike.

I agree, my mother needs a hearing aid now and because she's very loud due to her disability I've become a bit deaf
It's about a girl with a disease that robs her of any body movement while keeping her mind sharp.

Her body is now a prison.
...Nope, no way am I reading that, my heart skipped a few beats just by reading that

Also, I'm having 2 teeth get pulled out soon. And again later. I want to scream

define appearances
As in you secretly hate their guts, everything they stand for, idolize, and more with good reasoning. He once told me wanted the plane I was riding in would explode and kill me. This after I have just buried my mother and only brought on by me complaining about him lackadaisically taking his time to get me and my friend to the airport and worries of being late. (Something he found out threw his kids telling him.)

But you put up with them, you put up with them on Facebook, you are friends with them on Facebook, and when you (rarely) go home, you just kind of ignore them, because there are other members of the family they are connected to that I do have some feelings left for.

But secretly their very existence is just gross to you.

That kind of deal.

I'd unfriend then, just like how I don't talk to my french grandmother, especially when I found out she said "If we had birth control pills back then I wouldn't have had 4 kids" to my mother a lot. My mother was number 4

I mean I could, technically he's just a number. I don't even talk to him, but eh, it's like I don't want that family drama. I only like so few of my family anyways.

He wanted the plane you were on to explode and kill you?

That doesn't sound like family.

If someone ironically told me that I hoped I died and was just generally an asshole I wouldnt secretly hate them. I'd do so publicly.
You reserve the right to call out assholes at any time.
Unless you also rely on him in which you can ignore people on Facebook, right?

I don't rely on him. I'd rather chop off all my limbs than have to resort to that. Lol.

It doesn't.

Which ironically makes me realize that a lot of my writing focuses on the themes of family can be anyone, not just blood.

Relationships like this one made me realize where that theme came from.

Come to think of it, he essentially wished for a couple hundred people including yourself to die.
All that because you got on his nerves? **** that guy.
Does your sour relationship stem from a certain belief he may have?

Here's some overall happy Japanese dramas to make up for my very depressing recommendation:

Ikebukuro West Gate Park -about girls who get murdered. The actual mood of very lighthearted even though the contents are dark. Obviously not the happiest one on this list.

Great Teacher Onizuka (older version) - about a teacher trying to turn the school around. Very funny.

haven't seen the newer version even though they used me to promote it in Fukushima. Got asked randomly if I wanted to be in an ad, was extremely hungover. Haven't seen the ad but some of my former students told me they saw me

Densha Otoko - based on a "True" story of a 2ch otaku who saves a girl from a drunkard on the train. They fall in love as he tries to hide his otaku-Ness. The story might have been fabricated a little. The movie version sucks.
It kind of reminds me of this thread in a way

Dragon Zakura about a teacher trying to get his class (the worst class, ever) into Tokyo University.

I can go into some Japanese films if you guys want.
Post ones on Hulu or netflix?

I don't know. He's not liberal in the least. And we've never been close prior to this at all. Hell, I never even technically came out to him, but it's no family secret either.

Despite being cousins the extent of our relationship isn't much but this, him one time pretty much assaulting me, and yeah that's about it.

Honestly, I don't have many positive family memories with him. If any.

I'm conservative and Christian. People like this give both of those groups a bad name...

I will never understand why homosexuality is such a big deal to some people. Bible even said some of the old laws are no longer applicable, hence why Leviticus doesn't have much power anymore.

Even then the Bible says that all sin is equal so if it is wrong, everyone is still in the same boat and should not be shamed.

I just don't get it.

It's like with everything. You still get the loony minority that pushes everyone else down with them.
