The scary thing is that I knew someone that was like this guy. He bought this girl a crazy expensive gift, and the way he was talking about her I could tell it was one-sided. I kept telling him to make sure that she likes him, and lo and behold, they got into a fight and were banned from being in the same room on campus or something (it was a different school than me so I'm not 100% sure on the details).

Some of my Japanese friends (mostly girls) use that face, it's suppose to show slight disappointment/ feeling a little down.

What!? Roy's coming back? No way. He's a one shot character. After all the sole reason he was added to Melee was to promote the Fire Emblem series. There's no way he's going to get back into the game now that his game is no longer relevant. Plus you know...Ike and Lucina.

I saw the Pixels trailer, and expected something of equal parts early 80's video game references of varying quality and cringe-inducing Happy Madison jokes, but something overall enjoyable to watch once. Saw the movie last night, and I wasn't disappointed; the video game references were surprisingly on-point and varied, at least for the time period they were supposed to represent.

If anything, the video game references were overall better than those in Wreck-It Ralph.

Critics Consensus: Much like the worst arcade games from the era that inspired it, Pixels has little replay value and is hardly worth a quarter.

As someone who's probably put a good $50 in Galaga machines over my life, I take offense to this statement. I guess I wasn't around to play the "worst", though. At least the user ratings indicate that a good chunk of people are giving it a chance in spite of the scathing reviews.

It's out performing the only (mostly) positively reviewed new film (which probably pisses off Fox hoping to bank on John Green as a money maker), but still isn't going to get first place.

It's doing better by all accounts than it really should for it's reviews and this is why Netflix has their Adam Sandler deal.

While talking about Fire Emblem, the person claims Sakurai considered Leif from Fire Emblem before Nintendo suggested Roy. @ PushDustIn : Do you have any evidence that claims this is truthful? I'm kind of curious myself .

Remember: Sakurai almost considered Leif instead of Roy for Melee

Intelligent Systems forced Sakurai to use Roy as it would be considered a teaser for Fire Emblem 6 (Binding Blade)

I do like Roy, but I think Leif would have been a lot cooler, he's not some generic blue haired lord, neither is he considered the worst lord in the series. Damn Intelligent Systems, why u gotta ruin it.

I actually own Shaq-Fu as a kid on the Genesis. I thought it was hard so I hated it. Went back and played Sonic 2, Mortal Kombat 2, Madden 96 and NBA Jam.


I was also a very stupid kid since I asked for a Sega Genesis 3, in 1996 during the 5th generation. Although very smart decision looking at it now

Ah, Koe no Katachi was a really great manga; very emotional to begin with and gets quite melodramatic in the middle but it was still a great read. The ending was quite satisfying albeit quite open-ended. The anime will actually be a an anime film instead of a 12 - 25 episode TV series, curious to see how that goes but looking forward to it nevertheless.

If the Zelda and Pokemon mangas are anything to go by, something good must come out of this.
But FE had a 2 episode OVA iirc
Then again, we have great cartoon adaptations such as Kid Icarus the Donkey Kong animated series

Ah, Koe no Katachi was a really great manga; very emotional to begin with and gets quite melodramatic in the middle but it was still a great read. Anime film adaptations of manga series tend to miss out on heaps of content though. I still think the film will be great but for the full experience, the manga is best.

the basic premise is that when people make videos about the ballot
they either: stick to 1 character or do a top 10
and it almost always something covered by like 60 other people
(K.rool, Dixie, Ridley, shovel knight ect ect)
(the only character that has anything close to those characters
that i plan on having an episode on is wonder red)
basically i plan on talking about characters nobody seems to talk about sure they have fans
(who may have posted a support thread for them on smash boards)
but they are not getting the coverage they deserve
now if i don't do this you guys are free to take the idea and use the series
(which i plan on calling "Smashing The ballot") to cover your ideas
for those interested here's my planned episode list IF i go through with this idea
