People just need to stop pushing their stance on certain things onto others. There are things that they should really just keep to themselves. :/
I have religious colleagues and friends. They loathe people who strictly follow the bible and use it as an excuse for their opinion "God doesn't make mistakes!" Then God made people who they are. If we can't be nice to men who like sausages and woman who like melons and clams because muh religion, you can't have tasty junkfood or sweets if I'm on a diet
Nobody should force anything onto people. They even teach that at our church. We can wear it on our sleeve but we aren't gonna push it hard to where it's uncomfortable. If you don't believe, that's you. I judge you by your character not by your beliefs.

Good thing I don't take the Internet seriously most of the time. I'm an Atheist, and I don't give a **** about what anyone thinks. Everyone has a right to believe what they want, and I am sure as hell gonna stand by my own beliefs.

Eliwood doesn't promote as late, gets a horse, has higher stats and ****ed a dragon

Yeah but how he is early on hurts me especially when Lyn and Hector does more for me. Even then most FE lords aren't as great and their other units are better like Great Knights, Swordmaster, Caverliers, Bow Knights and my favorite, Padalin.
And then swamp can't read such bad things.

Am I the only one that gets weirdly...depressed when I see Smash 4 characters and assets downgraded for Brawl?
It makes me feel empty inside
Marcus and Sigurd are 2 examples of prepromotes that are considered great units
That's actually pretty nice for a mod but the animation has to be worked on VERY MUCH
I know the character would like better if professionally designed regardless, but it really makes you realize how much better Smash 4 looks... and it's not just because of processing power. Even the 3DS version has a much better aesthetic feel to it then Brawl.
Yoshi and Sonic truly went from fugly to neat design-wise
While I can't say he was phenomenal with me, I felt Eliwood still carried his weight. He's mounted, so he can get to places much faster, and he has lances for a secondary option and Javelin/Spears, and Durandal gives him a hard hitting option. Those three together gave him something to keep him moving, even if he could fall behind the faster Lyn and tankier Hector.
The animation and effects does need a bit of work yes. The textures and lighting effect probably isn't really helping it either.....
Eliwood becomes much better after promoting, and as someone who had all 3 Lords promote at level 20, Eliwood was the most disappointing
I actually like how Brawl looks but...overall 3DS is probably my favorite visually.
It's not the effort itself, the mod actually impressed me, but it's where the effort's going that upsets me really.
Some may be and I don't even have a problem if you receive them early game(Sigurd is FE4'S lord iirc and you get Ross in Chapter 2-3 in Sacred Stones), but you receive Amelia in the middle of Chapter 9, at this point you're already promoting your units, at least she has only 4 movement, otherwise it would be a pain in the ass to make Eirika talk to her
Chrom is good but he can't ever touch RD Ike. That due straight made the game his ***** and was unbelievable on there. Closest on to was Hector and Eiphraim.
Like I said the look and feel of Brawl feels like it aged 10 years when you see Smash 4 especially with models like
