Still has the worst taunts. Which fits because how low tier he isHalf of the taunts in Smash are only taunts in the loose defintion of the word.
Apparently the people who get reported online so many times can still play online in an area known as "Ban Land". Its an area within' the servers that puts reported players in their own domain removing them from the rest of the players around the world. The eerie part is that your not even alerted about it. You're just put there without notice. Its like Smash's version of the Twilight Zone XD.This past week I've noticed its been very difficult to find players to play online. I just sit in lobbies waiting for ppl to join. I have to leave and rejoin online like 10 times just to finally find someone and its usually the same few players every time. I noticed a lot of "BANNED" tags in names . I told this guy I kept getting matched with I couldn't connect to anyone else. He said we've been reported too many times and have been banned for 2 weeks. WTF is this really a thing? It actually would make sense because as far as I can tell nothing is wrong with my internet connection. I've never had matchmaking issues before either. And I main Pac-Man and yes I know people can get frustrated by his fruit spam zoning but I never talk trash and always say GG. I also play DDD and enjoy getting wins with suicide swallow, its funny. But did I really get put on a **** list just for playing the game? Thats crazy can anyone else confirm if this is true?
I'm literally sitting here trying to find a game..waiting.. and the same guy keeps joining with "******" as his name and spamming with Samus. This Smash Jail seems very real to me. I create a new NNID and still get matched with the same players LOL. I wouldn't care about playing only convicts but it just takes too long to find anyone.. its soo annoying, I JUST WANNA PLAY SMASH.
My brother and I were in "Banned Land" last week. It was horrible, nobody believed it was real BUT IT IS REAL! Exactly as you described. We couldn't even find anyone in Doubles, only really ****ty, spammy, laggy singles.
We tried making new Miis, didn't work. Even happened to be switching internet providers and that didn't fix it. If you set up another Wii on the same internet, you can play just fine, but not many people have that option.
We were in it for 1 full week, not knowing if we'd ever get out. But trust me, you will get out, it just sucks for a week, at least that's how long it was in our case.
I'll be the first to admit we trash talked, spit people under the stage with DDD, beat people by +7 lead and then rub it in after they trashed talked us. Put in their name with a + at the end, beat them with their own characters, make our tags "UR GOOD" wait a while and then put "WE BETTER", stuff like that. Yeah, we deserved it and we're more careful now that we know this is a thing. We never rage quit or ended matches early, no matter how laggy.
It's just a reference on how clumsy Lucas is/was.Maybe. I've played most of Mother 3 and don't remember but it's been a really long time now. It seems like it would be though.
Maybe Sakurai designed it because Brawl had tripping. If it was a new taunt, I'd be inclined to feel it's a nod to Brawl.
....but it isn't.
i love giygas and he's a much better candidate for a (very hypothetical) third mother character than porky, the masked man, or kumatora especiallyIf we're posting movesets, I had made one for Giygas in November: (That Excitebike one is amazing BTW <3)
Giygas is an ailment/effect/defense based character utilizing an arsenal of PK-based attacks to weaken and juggle the opponent into his neutral air shield attack. When distance is formed, you can use your PSI Rockin', Shield off, or LifeUp to perform a variety of setups and tasks to keep the fight regulated in your favor. Once you have an opponent at high damage, perform a well timed forward/back aerial, smash attack, or back throw to KO.
Appearance: Something along the lines of this:
His thin body style makes him a light character, making one of his primary weaknesses his low weight. Hence, why he has an arsenal of support/defensive physic powers.
Entrance: Giygas exits his chamber from Mother 1.
Special ability: Can float, much like Peach.
A: Giygas swings his arm forward, releasing a red burst of energy. Does 5%.
AA: Giygas swings his other arm, releasing the same red burst followed by a black one in front of it. Red still does 5%, black does 6%.
AAA: Giygas swings his tail, which is charged with red and black electricity. Does 8%.
Dash Attack: Giygas spins forward, covered by a magenta shield. Does 4%.
Ftilt: Giygas does a quick burst of blue energy with his right arm that flashes in front of him. Does 8%, has decent knockback.
Dtilt: Swoops arm in front of him, releasing a green trail of energy. Does 5%, but has large priority and trips opponents if they're at ground level in front of the attack.
Utilt: Giygas releases a spark above his head. Does 10%, pulls opponent inwards.
FSmash: Giygas releases a large burst of hexagonal cyan energy. Has a 30% chance of freezing opponent for a short period of time. Does 16%-21%.
DSmash: Giygas outstretches his arms to the side and releases two large bursts of circular green energy. They carry along the ground a short distance, and cause 20%-30% on direct impact or 10%-20% when carrying along the ground.
USmash: Giygas raises both arms into the air and releases an electric discharge. Has repeat damage and locks opponent into attack, does upwards of 20%-32%. Kills at early percentages.
Nair: Giygas flashes magenta hexagonal energy around him. Repels foes away with high knockback. Does 3%.
Fair: Does a moving animation with his arms, with a small dark trail on energy following his arm movement. Does 2% and drags you inwards normally, but does 15% and kills at under 50% on a very specific sweetspot.
Uair: A trail of frost carries along Giygas arm. opponents caught in this will temporary freeze for less than a second, but the attack can carry you and stall you in the air. Does 3% a hit.
Bair: Giygas stretches his tail backwards and releases a burst of hexagonal gray energy from the tip. Does 1%, but causes knockback proportionate to damage. Purely horizontal in movement and will KO most characters of they get hit by the attack while they have more than 120%.
Dair: Giygas raises his upper body and moves his arms down low as he unleashes a burst of fire. Attack does 8% and moves opponent upwards into Giygas, allowing for a combo into his Fair or Nair.
Normal Special: PSI Rockin'
Giygas raises his arms and begins charging a purple vortex above his head. Charging can last up to 5 seconds. The longer the charge, the more the range. Maximum 5 seconds charge can reach is roughly half of battlefield. The blast in a thin purple bubble. When it hits a foe, they have lowered defenses and sustain greater knockback and damage from all attacks.
Forward Special: Shield Off
Giygas raises his arms to his head and begins to charge a black burst. Charge lasts for 5 seconds, and depending on how long it's been charged, the attack will drain a shield if used directly on an opponent. Will break any active shield at full charge. If it's used while an opponent is in stun from a broken shield, the attack is an instant KO. The attack comes out as a precise arm swing. Does 10% if not used directly on a shield, but will still drain it. You cannot break an opponent into shield stun unless they have their shield up.
Up Special: 4th-D Slip
Giygas teleports away in a green vortex and re-appears out of another. Opponent's stuck in in the attack's hitbox will be carried with it. If they are teleported with Giygas, they retain jumping and recovering ability. Giygas does not go into freefall, but cannot use it in the air again until he lands.
Down Special: LifeUp
Giygas closes his eyes, and a yellow aura surrounds him. His life will slowly recover by 2% a second. Button-hold move. After use, yellow aura will remain for roughly ten seconds, and any attack that Giygas hits will heal him for one fourth the damage delivered to an opponent. If the attack is used more than twice per minute, Giygas will enter a shield break effect and be stunned.
Final Smash: The True Form
Giygas becomes wavy before his eyes glow red and he uses 4th-D slip. The background of the stage becomes enveloped by Giygas' true form. Small rifts will occur on stage, will will cause a variety of negative effects to those caught in them, including flower effect, possible shrinkage, stun, etc. Giygas finishes the attack by unleashes a heavy knockback rift along the ground. Will KO anybody caught in the ground attack if they have percentages over 30%. Can be avoided by staying a decent bit in the air.
Grab: If within range, Giygas flashes a gray hexagonal form of energy. Takes opponent into his grasp.
Pummel: Giygas uses his mind to harm opponent by sucking out their energy. Does 1% per pummel, and recovers Giygas 1% per pummel.
Forward Throw: Giygas outstretches his arm and pushes opponent out at an upwards diagonal angle.Does 8%. Opponent will always fast fall after being thrown by this attack.
Up Throw: Tosses opponent upwards as he looks up. Does 5%. Opponent will always fast fall after being thrown by this attack.
Back Throw: Crosses arms and glances behind him before throwing opponent with great force. Throw does 10%, opponent will always fast fall after being thrown, and has large horizontal knockback. Easily a kill move at 60-70%.
Down Throw: Giygas slams the foe on the ground twice before they're released, causing them to flop on the ground once. Does 10%.
Taunt 1: Giygas does a low growl as black and red energy pulse from his forehead.
Taunt 2: Giygas crosses his arm and bubbles appear in the background, as if he was in his chamber from Mother 1.
Taunt 3: A red and black vortex appears behind Giygas as he looks upwards and has a low growl.
I remember hearing seperate banned ques in multiple communities. LOL, smite, etc but this is the first time i think ive ever seen it implemented. Nintendo you crazy.Guys, I just found something eerie on Reddit. http://www.reddit.com/r/smashbros/comments/3ar4zj/being_reported_online_puts_you_against_other/.

This reminds me.Taunts come in all shapes and sizes within fighting games.
I hate that roster so much because it has Sceptile but no Squirtivysaur. I would actually be disappointed with this roster, because all vets besides those two are basically in. P. Trainer doesn't count imo because Char has his own slot.i love giygas and he's a much better candidate for a (very hypothetical) third mother character than porky, the masked man, or kumatora especially
perhaps he should have pk beam instead of psi rockin', though? it's similar to 4th-d slip in being a mother 1-exclusive art
I'm pretty sure they did.I hate that roster so much because it has Sceptile but no Squirtivysaur. I would actually be disappointed with this roster, because all vets besides those two are basically in. P. Trainer doesn't count imo because Char has his own slot.
@ epicmartin7 did they say "GG" by changing their name on the Wii U version? I didn't understand that part, since there's no type system.

Well, it has Snake, Rayman and Dark Samus, so I'd gladly play this roster.i love giygas and he's a much better candidate for a (very hypothetical) third mother character than porky, the masked man, or kumatora especially

actually older versions of it had sylux but i trimmed it down a bitWell, it has Snake, Rayman and Dark Samus, so I'd gladly play this roster.
Dr.Mario's taunts are worse, they look like idle animations.Still has the worst taunts. Which fits because how low tier he is
I agree.Dr.Mario's taunts are worse, they look like idle animations.
Damn it Jim, he's a doctor, not a taunter.Dr.Mario's taunts are worse, they look like idle animations.
you missed me getting hype on paper jam as my new avatar showsDamn I've missed a lot, sorry goons
Did I miss...a....a leak? *breaks down into tears*
I agree.
Although Dr. Mario rubbing his foot into the ground is like, the best disrespect.
But him bumping his chest is the best taunt. That's a real n**** taunt there. True bada**Dr.Mario's taunts are worse, they look like idle animations.
I'm pretty sure Charizard is much better now thanks to the recent patch.
Still has the worst taunts. Which fits because how low tier he is
I like your taste in crazy large rosters. The third party section is perfect.i love giygas and he's a much better candidate for a (very hypothetical) third mother character than porky, the masked man, or kumatora especially

仲間が減るよ
I found this in the popular japanese Miiverse posts.
It has Pokemon trainer, though. I'm sure he's bringing Ivy and Squirtle with him.I hate that roster so much because it has Sceptile but no Squirtivysaur. Hmmm Pichu? XD仲間が減るよ
Our colleagues are leaving!
(Who is that creepy guy crying?)
To think how different Smash Brothers would be had that girl destroyed him instead. You guys are going to love this story.
Sakurai shares his painful memory of playing a fighting game.
In case you were wondering about Sakurai's cat, I wrote an article about her!You win or you get KO'd. There is no middle ground.

imo noIs it just me or is Lottie from Happy Home Designer a bit of Nintendo trying to strike magic again like they did with Isabelle?
Super delayed, but I'm glad to see another Buffyverse fan here! I love Doyle, I wish we'd gotten more of him. :/New avatar. I'm in the mood to express my love of the buffyverse at the moment. I may change it back to Banjo at some point.
