That's what I am thinking and holding out hope for. Would be disappointed but not completely surprised to just have the two slots remaining, and I could also see us getting 6 more total (although I think that's a long shot.)Gonna agree with Burb and say the max is 4. The two Mario placeholders and two ballot picks.
I'm in agreement here. I'm hoping for Wolf and then the ballot character.Gonna agree with Burb and say the max is 4. The two Mario placeholders and two ballot picks.
What I found interesting about this reading it the second time is that he also directly calls Sylux a male gender pronoun. While that doesn't necessarily confirm anything, the Metroid wiki states that it's unknown what gender Sylux is.“He’s actually chasing after Samus, and that’s where that game ends. There’s still more I want to build around the story of Sylux and Samus. There’s something going on between them. I want to make a game that touches upon [it].”
“I’m also thinking that, in that eventual game between Sylux and Samus that might get made, that I wants to involve the [Galactic] Federation as well. So it would be a good idea to release a game like Federation Forces to flesh out its role in the galaxy before moving on to that.”
Play as Hoshido and fight off the bad guys, or play as Nohr and make the bad guys good. Unless I have the description backwards because I don't think you "join" Nohr because yous start as it. Also apparently there's a decent amount of transforming characters. Two versions of the franchise’s new installment offer players an unprecedented choice: fight an opposing force or join the other side and try to make changes from within. For the first time in the series, players take on the role of the main character and command an army, while struggling to decide which path to follow: helping blood relatives or the family that raised him or her. The game is scheduled to launch in 2016.
The reception to Super MD has been great so far though, especially after the massive letdown that was Gates to Infinity.Actually I remember some people asking why Super Mystery Dungeon wasn't in the Digital Event.
I'm actually glad it wasn't shown in the event as all the stupid hate that Metroid Federation Force got? Could you imagine the hate it would get for not being the 7th gen games? I don't want that to happen to Mystery Dungeon sub-series.
Also does anyone else hope that Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival is shown on the treehouse? I want it to be shown so that we actually see what the game plays like.
Well I was more pointing out all the hate the Digital Event had, and the pointless hate Metroid Prime Federation Force got from the Metroid fanbase, now remember that the Pokemon fanbase is much bigger, so I'm afraid that the hate Super Mystery Dungeon could have received for not being a mainline Pokemon game. The reception to Super MD has been great so far though, especially after the massive letdown that was Gates to Infinity.
I'd say neat.Your reaction if we got a DLC bundle:
Wolf
Pichu
Ice Climbers
Hyrule 64
Corneria (Large original size)
Fourside
What isn't on the show floor? It's not even on the floor show. Apparently the show floor is worse than the DE.
Anything with Ice Climbers would be exciting because that means they overcame their technical issues. Doesn't matter what the other content is.Your reaction if we got a DLC bundle:

Fantastic. Although I'd personally rather have Squirtle and Ivysaur back than Pichu. But, I'd still buy it.Your reaction if we got a DLC bundle:

2 minimum. Probably no more than 4-6 more though. So, how many more DLC characters are we expecting for Smash 4? Just curious.

Eh, while that sounds like a good point, it's also the exact same sort of thing I heard time and time again from people who insisted Mario Kart 8 DLC is still ongoing.I'll say it.
I think people are being too conservative with their guesses now. The game has changed. We just got three characters at once, four months before the ballot even ends. Three characters who were clearly financially successful, but also extremely well received by the fanbase.
More are coming.
Hey we could still see Mario Kart 8 DLC, but I'm thinking more along the lines that it isn't impossible, but unlikely.Eh, while that sounds like a good point, it's also the exact same sort of thing I heard time and time again from people who insisted Mario Kart 8 DLC is still ongoing.
But we at least know two more are on the way because of the placeholders. That's more than what MK8 fans have to work with.Eh, while that sounds like a good point, it's also the exact same sort of thing I heard time and time again from people who insisted Mario Kart 8 DLC is still ongoing.
IT COULD STILL HAPPEN.Eh, while that sounds like a good point, it's also the exact same sort of thing I heard time and time again from people who insisted Mario Kart 8 DLC is still ongoing.
That's good news. They outright said in the stream that the board game was only part of the full game, and there's more to it they can't talk about yet.
Mario Kart laid all their cards on the table. Smash hasn't.Eh, while that sounds like a good point, it's also the exact same sort of thing I heard time and time again from people who insisted Mario Kart 8 DLC is still ongoing.
Happy. Very, very Happy. ^,^Your reaction if we got a DLC bundle:

I'll laugh if this ends up having actual AC gameplay. XDThey outright said in the stream that the board game was only part of the full game, and there's more to it they can't talk about yet.
Lucas shares the following things with Ness:I think two characters every two month's might be doable depending on the types of characters they are working on, especially if there are some existing assets for them to use.
Lucas apparently has the exact same lose animation as Ness (he even blinks at the exact same time....)
This is a very click bait title. It's likely but they aren't sure that there is an unannounced title beingshown.Something to keep track of.

Well, at least Nintendo was on board with the reaction their fans had to their games. They outright said in the stream that the board game was only part of the full game, and there's more to it they can't talk about yet.
Nothing wrong with that, just saying.Lucas shares the following things with Ness:
He has the same clapping animation both Losing and No Contest.
His stage grab animation is very similar if not the same.
His being Grabbed animation is near identical.
His standing on edge animation is also the same from what I see.
Not to mention the models are nearly the exact same.
But who cares really :D
That's true, I suppose.Mario Kart laid all their cards on the table. Smash hasn't.
For Smash, we know more unannounced characters are coming. The question is how many.
