I literally downloaded a rom hack of NES Super Mario Bros. probably around 15 or so years ago that just replaced small Mario with a sprite of large Mario in a wheel chair. I don't recall what they replaced the Mushroom power up with that turned him into Super Mario.

Also not sure why I donwloaded it, but to be fair I was new to the world of NES rom hacks and was just downloading whatever I could. There really wasn't much variety back then, lol.

I feel like Roy is a hype builder because of Melee nostalgia (and because people have wanted him back for some time.) Wolf would be great cross promotion with Star Fox and he should be easy to port, so he's also a given. Regarding Ryu, I dunno. I myself am hyped for him though, and I could see him hyping up people purely based on his iconic nature/SNES nostalgia maybe.
