Well this place was pretty much a ghost town before we all came in (and tbf it kinda still is now). So it seemed like a pretty nice place for us to move to.

I literally have zero credibility and nobody is going to believe me so **** it. I saw a Ryu Smash DLC reveal trailer this afternoon.

Trailer begins with Ryu vs Ken on pic related stage.
Classic "Round 1" sound effect and everything.
Ryu combos the **** out of Ken and for Round 2 Mega Man is standing in Ken's place
Ryu makes a WTF (keep in mind this is all in SF2 style)
Mega Man is joined by Sonic, Mario and Pac Man and everything turns into Smash 4 style similar to DHD's trailer
Splash screen and "Ryu Shoryuken Fight"
His specials are Hadouken, Shoryuken, an SF3 parry and Tatsumaki
He has an EX meter that works similar to Little Mac's KO punch but is based around how often he dodges and shields (Note: I ****ing hate this because it promotes turtling)
He has a Ken colored pallette swap
He uses his Final Smash which is a giant Hadouken on a bunch of Mii Fighters who are dressed up as Chun-Li, M. Bison and Blanka
Cut to Smash Logo
After the Smash logo, it plays an SF2 win screen with Mario and the text "You must defeat my Final Smash to stand a chance"


I hate, hate, hate the EX meter bull****


The trailer ends with a Street Fighter 2 style win screen with Ryu and Mario

Hey everyone! I'm Mickey, your average Canadian. I live in Vancouver, BC (Where Nintendo of Canada, Ltd is located). My brother works there as a game tester. According to him, the Direct was sent there and he's seen it. Here's the description he gave me:

The presentation starts out with the Super Smash Bros. lines cutting through the screen. It then cuts to a Jungle setting with Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong running through the jungle to an unknown location. They are then joined by Dixie Kong who joins the battle. They arrive at the sea where they are greeted by an attacking Pirate Ship. They look in awe as King K. Rool walks to the front while laughing. He jumps off the ship and then the trailer fades to a gameplay section. Dixie Kong will be available in August and King K Rool will be available in September on the in-game DLC shop.

It cuts to Miyamoto where he talks a little bit about Starfox: Galaxies. Here, he talks a little bit about the modes and controls. There's a normal story mode, an online mode, and a VS mode. The VS mode can be played with up to 5 players; 4 on the TV and 1 on the gamepad. The TV users an use a normal Wiimote, classic controller, or the Pro Controller. The online mode can be played against or alongside randomly selected players. Unfortunately, single player mode is not talked about in detail.
The game will be released this winter.

The camera then goes to Reggie at NoA, where he talks about Mario and his 30th anniversary. He brings up a trailer of a new mysterious game. The game is called: New Super Mario All Stars. The game features Super Mario Bros 1, 2, 3, and the lost levels but with New Super Mario Bros-esque visuals. The game will be released in October. The full release date in also revealed for Mario Maker. It will be released on September 24th in North America and September 28th for the rest of the world.

The camera cuts to Bill Trinen where he announces the North America release date for Yoshi's Woolly World. The game will be released on September 24th along with New Super Mario All Stars. An indie-game slideshow commences showing off a bunch of indie-games arriving to Nintendo's platforms. The same thing is done with 3rd Party games.

A bit of information about Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is revealed. There's an online mode in which you can design a randomly selected player's home to their liking and get an overall rating from the home owner afterward. These scores are added up and displayed on your online profile.

Lastly, the camera cuts to Iwata and talks about the development of a a new game in a franchise that hasn't had a new game in a while. He says "Please take a look" and it starts the trailer. It shows the Nintendo logo and the Sega logo on one screen. The lgos are then zoomed past on speeding cars and then the camera zooms up on the race track. It shows off the high-speeds and new tracks for about 30 seconds. It then shows Captain Falcon walking out of his Blue Falcon and saying "It's great to be back!". After this, it shows the F-Zero logo and with a 2016 release date. Iwata then thanks the audience for watching and says goodbye.

I automatically am deeming this one fake due to this and the new F-Zero game.
Too good to be true.

Also, as per usual, we have another lackluster Starfox title, with "Starfox: Galaxies".

I just really want to see how they implement Ryu. That, and his artwork, so I can get an idea of what his amiibo will look like. :laugh:

They will likely reveal the Lucas and Mewtwo amiibo release dates at E3 at least. Those are gonna be hellish to get though.

I'd only worry about Mewtwo if he's retail exclusive. He's a high profile enough character to have high stock I think. And even then, if he's exclusive to Toys R Us, they could always be awesome again like they were with Greninja. Managed to get him at like 2 PM there, and they still had like twenty left.


Lucas though...I'm banking on Gamestop Exclusive.

Yeah I know that this being the internet nobody is going to believe this crap so here goes. There's a newcomer trailer which has Ryu and some other guy.

The trailer starts like normal, Smash cut with flames and stuff

Cut to Ryu punching and kicking some of the Smash cast as they attack him effortlessly, ending with Samus getting Shoryuken'd again

After Samus gets wrecked some electricity strikes Ryu from behind, he turns around to see his new foe and it's some blue guy with a gun, not Mega Man. I literally had no idea who it was and I missed the splash card. Cut to gameplay showing both in action, Smash logo, cut out.

Yeah. This being the internet, it won't get far.

The description of "blue guys'' "guns" "electricity" make me think about Gunvolt .

It's not looking bad for a Cell-Shading Render , it's just not feel like a Smash 4 render

For me it's Fake , not for Ryu . Just for Gunvolt

When he said "Blue Guy" after he mentioned Samus my mind went to Adam Malcovich or Anthony Higgs.
