But I decided to make my own one after seeing it. It still has some areas I'm not sure about, and I pretty much avoided most spin-offs. I couldn't even fit the Storybook games in.

I've been wanting to make own ever since I saw Tracker's months ago.

I've been playing Pac Man World 2 again after a long time of not playing it.

It's a pretty simple and enjoyable platformer, but it just feels so behind its time. Its presentation- UI, graphics, the way it transitions into levels- really feels like an N64/PS1 game. Its basic gameplay style makes it accessible and fun to play through but it also makes it kind of shallow.

Once I finish the game I'll better articulate how I feel about it.

I have a lot of games in the series I haven't played, but as far as what I have. . .

Not sure I could come up with a proper tier list, but my S tier is Sonic 2 (nostalgia disclaimer on 2), Sonic Generations HD, Sonic Adventure, Sonic CD. In the order that I think I tried them.

Sonic Colors DS, Sonic Generations 3DS, Unleashed HD, and the Rushes in the upper middle tiers.

Sonic '06 and Sonic 3&K in the "have and enjoyed some parts of but for some reason do not feel motivated to beat" tier.

Sonic 1 and Sonic 4 Episodes 1 and 2 in the "Alright but not as good as the others" tier.

Probably a couple of others I'm forgetting, but the only one I remembered upon having that concern is Sonic the Fighters which can't even be placed on the same scale as the others due to being a different genre.

He probably put Sonic 06 that high because its bugginess made it fun for him.
But Sonic 3D is miles better than Sonic 4.

Actually, no, I don't think that's the case. I looked through the replies, and the OP says that the reason he put 06 that high is because "if it were polished, it would be the ideal Sonic game" to him.

It's not a good reason but it's better than nothing.

Tried out some of Hyrule Warriors' DLC characters today. Toon Link is my favorite so far.

In addition to characters I also got the Master Quest and Majora's Masks Packs as well as some costumes. Ganondorf's TP costume is pretty sweet, though I wish that his WW costume was available in the Wii U version....I'd probably use that one all the time if it were.

I think that's a huge exaggeration.

Sonic '06 would be a good game if it was polished. The story is pretty irrelevant here too. The Adventure games don't exactly have well realised stories either, yet nobody points at them as a huge blow against the games.

Sonic's levels are actually very well designed in '06 (open ended with many secrets and ways you can approach the S Rank). They're only bad because of technical issues and the core gameplay of the game not being polished. Sonic Generations mods prove this without a shadow of a doubt.

I know plenty of them are on both Steam and on both eShops for not that much.
Plus PC means mods and stuff so that's always fun.

Yup! I am hyped for that game; it looks awesome and it might be my first pre-order in ages. At this time, spoilers seem to be running amok, so I am doing my best to avoid them (with a few exceptions that do not ruin the game for me) as to show appreciation Sean Murray and his team put into the game. I'll be getting it on PC since that's my favored system for gaming (and the fact it won't be available on the Wii U).

unfortunately i dont have a gaming pc yet so i'm going for the PS4 version. but i'll definitely get the pc version once i build my own pc, along with the pc version of overwatch.

The mach speed levels aren't really fun and the way side characters were implemented into it was kind of a disservice to both the levels and the characters, but overall you can really feel something good underneath the lack of polish.

Yeah, I can enjoy most of it, but the Mach Speed levels are the most horrendous. Despite the glitches/etc. with the other characters, they can be fairly fun. Albeit, Tails has super wonky flying, while the others control overall better(again, bar Mach Speed). Mind you, Shadow's vehicles are improved compared to his original game, and he does play a lot more uniquely due to his combo attacks when he Homing Attacks a larger enemy. Silver needs some blatant polish, but floating around and flinging boxes is fun in its own right, imo.

Some argue that Amy was really hard to play as, but I found her a lot of fun and easy to control. I thought the invisibility was neat, especially considering she has dabbled in magic before(via tarot cards). Plus, apparently her Hammer is brought out via Magic as well(Magical Hammerspace, but still).

I'd go on more, but there's no need for a wall of text. XD

Some notes:

• This is pretty much just my opinions, so no objectivity here whatsoever, feel free to argue it though
• For games with more than one iteration I only took into account console versions, or the "superior" versions (in the case of Unleashed)
• Sonic 3 is Sonic 3&K
• I considered spin offs like the Storybook series and Riders but this list would've been bloated if I did
• Excluded Sonic Boom because it's is own thing and... honestly it's just an easy target. lol
• Rush Adventure is missing because I've never played it
• I don't care for the majority of the Game Gear titles so I left them out
• I almost put Knuckles Chaotix here but since it's a spin off I left out (it would've been like a B-)

To be fair I see a lot of people say CD isn't good.

It's definitely one of the more divisive Sonic games.

Nope. 06 is more of a mediocre game(I do enjoy it, but I'd still put it in the "not anything special" category) to me, while I dislike a lot of other "liked" games. It depends if you're trying to make a opinion tier list or an objectivity tier list.

Well, I'm not ashamed to say that I'm using a cheat code to multiply the amount of exp my Pokemon get from every battle by 2x. Otherwise it would take me forever just to grind them.

Well, they're out in Japan at least. Not sure if SEGA has any plans of releasing them in the west, though.
