Greninja is the most popular Gen 6 Pokemon out there and have major merchandise.

He's above and beyond the favorite at this point and I don't think there's a lot favor to Zoroark considering he really isn't a big Pokemon and Greninja makes a lot of sense.

Mewtwo is a maybe.

I can see that but I never even thought of Skull Kid as a shoo-in ever. Maybe if you said Waluigi or even Takamaru.

Oh I meant Shoo-in for Hyrule Warriors regarding SK (he did get in for Legends but that's besides the point)

He'll probably be like M. Bison in Alpha series where he's a hard final boss but balanced well enough to be a regular fighter

Zoroark used to be popular, and was even considered "shoo-in" for Smash at one point. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. (Or :4greninja: in this case)

I wouldn't give up hope yet.

Librechu's moveset is still very much Pikachu-like even with the wrestling stuff, I don't really think he completely destroys Hawluchas chances.

Eh, at this point it just kinda shows they probably aren't interested in having him and I don't care that much anyways. I'm content with Lucario and Weavile.

I mean I already have the obvious Pika in Pokkén. If the other Pokémon were in then yeah sure, I'd be happy, just as long as they're fun to play.

Honestly Zoroark lost basically all his popularity LONG before Greninja happened. He lost it when Lucario and Mewtwo got Mega Evolutions. Many, many people who thought Zoroark was gonna get in thought it due to him "replacing Lucario" like the false pattern dictated. Then they saw that, hey, Lucario's actually important.

That was when Zoroark support faded and faded quickly. Sucked for the actual supporters though. It showed how many bandwagoners there were.

If you want to be truthful, most people thought he was shoo-in because how hard GF/TPC pushed him to be the new :4lucario:. When he didn't catch on like Lucario, he just kinda dropped off the face of the Earth.


He had fanbase but it never caught on fire like Lucario or even close to :4greninja:.

It does kinda bug me that TPC just kinda shoehorned Zoroark into a "Lucario" role which was just doomed to fail from the start.

I don't even know why they're insisting with this franchise while F-Zero and Startropics are paid dust.

Just put Chibi Robo on Smash and call it a day.

Nah, I think they were referring to the originals, even so plenty of other games have done Zip-Lash in 3D well.
