Perhaps the development team doesn't really see any viable stage layout for Gyromite/Stack-Up.

I'm guessing he doesn't directly represent a game in Smash Bros. I don't think he was a game-specific character, didn't several NES games had ROB support?

Only 2 games: Stack-Up & Gyromite.

I haven't look deeply in either game to see stage potential though.

Easy. He has not a proper game, and Sakurai doesn't care about him having a stage.

I always thought a stage based off of Kirby Super Star's sub games would be nice, it'd start with Megaton Punch and then go to Samurai Kirby.

It would be but most cases, characters from already repped franchises will probably end up sharing a stage that's already there. I think K. Rool is the only character that might have his own stage and Wolf if we get a Star Fox Zero stage.

Outside of that most characters will be sharing a stage. Zelda, Metroid and Kid Icarus could ever get a new character, they won't get a stage and just share one. Especially Zelda considering they might give them Hyrule Castle

If we get a Kid Icarus character as DLC (which I doubt), it's going to be rather....amusing to see Pit, Palutena, and Viridi not have any clue who it is.

Pit: Who is that?

Palutena: I have no data on this fighter. I can't believe it!

The stage can just be two floors with the rising and dropping pillars. It can work, but I'll just give ROB more a NES Remix type of stage.

Atleast it isn't as bad as not having a home stage on the 3DS.

They could take the same route as stages like Icicle Mountain, Summit or Wrecking Crew, re-imagining a retro game with modern graphics while still keeping the original motifs.

That's another option, either Luigify him or really change him, because right now there's barely any difference from playing Pit to Dark Pit. From all the clones they're the most "clones"

Yeah, such a waste. Well, if Snake comes back they should bring the codecs back with him (though I doubt they would, and also doubt Snake is coming back).

Edit: In future updates, they should give the DLC characters custom moves. It really pisses me off they haven't done so yet

To be fair, it's understandable why all DLC characters, Lucas included, don't have any special conversations.

It's a bit of shame they don't, but it's understandable considering the post-release status of DLC and how it could be difficult to get all the voice actors (counting Japanese and English, a total of 6) back to reprise the roles. What if any of them wasn't available at a time when a DLC character is released?

At the very least, once DLC is finished, they could record conversations for all DLC characters and patch them into the game. But even so, they can't be sure if all actors will be available.
