To be fair, 4Kids One Piece was a braindead attempt to make a show meant for older teens for kids. It was screwed right from the concept.

There's the issue. It's meant for kids. Kids are braindead these days, I should know, I see screaming kids every day I work. Even got told I was cute by one. That'd imply I'm goodlooking

Prefer dubs over subs. Though, a lot of the animes I have watched, as weird as this sounds, the dubbed voices fit the character. Baccano, Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy, Black Lagoon, I think the characters fit well with English speaking voices.

Jojo and Fist of the North Star? Those shows are crazy enough to where I think the Japanese voices help towards it. Idk, its hard to explain honestly.

I suppose that's a way of putting it. But believe me when I say there's way more to the anime than that alone. My favorite anime of the past 2 years to be frank. All you need to know is that he's Space Dandy. He's a Dandy guy. In Space.

It goes half and half for me. There are times where the Japanese voice is better, and there are times where the dub is just as good. Even some of the crappy dubs warm my heart with their incompetence. It also has to do with availability, since there have been times where the dub isn't available so I stick with subs.

Fullmetal Alchemist is the prime example of a dub being the definitive version than the original sorce material by being source material but the acting incredible and made me a fan of Travis Willingham.

Cowboy Bebop and Dragonball fit that example as well but not as great.
