It's pretty much all songs and remixes from all 2D Mario games. Such a huge list!!

3DS only has the Style Switch (the default option) and the new remix of the Super Mario Maker title theme (alternate song by holding down R).

Mario Maker stage is better than I expected. I thought the stage would be crazy and annoying, transforming all throughout the battle, but instead it's more or less static once the match begins, save for destructible blocks. That said, I dislike the stage can be a walk off stage, especially since all the lava and ice seem programmed to spawn in the middle of the stage with increased frequency. I got one level where there was just a massive pool of lava in the middle of the stage and the only place to stand and fight was right next to the walk off blast zone.

But when you get a good layout, the stage can be pretty entertaining. I just wish I could, like, save a layout I like or something so it could be played on again.

Those two are currently the most popular picks as of now from what I can tell...

Though I'd imagine it would be Zangief because his rivalry with R.Mika and that's a character people would expect in an SF game, right after Guile lol

I'm now hoping to see New Pork City in the Wii U version. It's perfect for 8-player matches and could simply share the music choices with Onett.

For both versions, I'd like to see Frigate Orpheon and some Melee stages like Rainbow Ride, Fountain of Dreams, Fourside and Pokémon Stadium 1.

I think the Duck Hunt stage made it to the 3DS because it was easy to port. Any other Wii U stage would need to be downgraded, while 3DS stages on Wii U would require an upgrade.

I know it's not the most popular opinion, but I'd love to see New Pork City come back on the Wii U. The 3DS can get Onett for free to balance out the stages.

Having one version stage DLC really opens up some possibilities.
