There were definitely some good parts of Season 2. Wan and the final boss were pretty amazing . The problem is that there was so much focus on the love rectangle (i'm stealing this) that all the good part was taken out. Although Bolin's love line with the twin was pretty fun.

(although retconning out that bending was learned from sky bisons, dragons, badgermoles, and the moon still pisses me off really hard)

There were vague mentions saying that humans learned bending from nature although i'm not 100% sure they specified dragons or sky bison. I'm almost certain it was said hat humans learned waterbending and earthbending from the moon and badgermoels respectively though.

Aang and Zuko learned that dragon dance for the true fire bending or whatever it was. i don't remember anything with sky bison

yeah that was a thing
i parsed it as just being that like
the lion turtles directly gave and took their elemental abilities to and from people
but eventually they relinquished their power after that whole thing with wan and whatever
so later on people learned the abilities through imitation of natural life

also the key word is parts. both series have their high and low points
korra has an entire season, while atla has a fair amount of filler that's just kind of a slog imo

My ****ing friend spoiled that **** for me saying it was obvious it was going to happen. I saw the hints, but I didn't know if they were actually going to go through with it.

Korra had some kick ass fight scenes and the production values are out of this world.

But the story and characters were hot and miss and there were a lot of misses.

Even then it's a 7/10 for me only for those fight scenes but overall it's 5/10.

I just want more incredible fight scenes like that and we won't see anything like this except for Shonen anime.

I think Mii Costumes are the only thing besides the SMM stage that we're getting
We've currently had no update without them and in all other updates, the "main" content(stages or characters) had already been announced when the Costumes were revealed

It's purely coincidental that we only gotten balance adjustments on even updates, and the trend would have been broken back in 1.0.7 if there wasn't those Mewtwo bugs ****ing with people's online that required immediate fixing. We'll be getting a balance update here regardless of it being 1.1.1.

If you want to ascribe to "patterns", balance adjustments have always came with new content, which is a lot more meaningful than which version number they come on.

As for the update, I don't believe the stage will be all that we'll be getting. At the very least, a few more Mii costumes will come with it.

This is based on precedence: Mewtwo came with Mii costumes. Lucas was announced for June and he came with two other characters and two stages, as well as Wii U exclusive content (Miiverse stage). The following update had the two stages previously announced, as well as having Mii costumes and I think the Tournament and YouTube replays for the Wii U version.

When you consider that every DLC wave we've had so far has consisted of more than just one thing (Characters, Mii Fighter Costumes, Trophies, Balance Patches, etc) only getting the Mario Maker stage on the 30th seems unlikely. I'm definitely expecting more than just the single stage next week.
