Some more unpopular opinions of mine:
- Smash is more fun played with items than without them
- Super Mario Sunshine is more fun that Super Mario 64
- Pichu isn't a bad addition to Melee and wouldn't mind if he returned to Smash 4
- The Ice Climbers' absence in Smash 4 is not a big deal for me
- Wario Land 3 is one of my all-time favorite games and I wasn't upset with the removal of Wario's shoulder bash in Smash 4 (though I still think it was an odd choice)
- Wii Fit Trainer's surprise reveal and oddball surprise characters are part of why I like the Smash Bros. series
- Snake does not fit with the Smash Bros. cast, but that's why he was an amazing addition to the roster
- Just like Ridley, K. Rool is another overrated character who I wouldn't mind if he was playable in Smash

Also, Unleashed is my favorite 3D sonic game, period. Don't hate the Werehog (sees it's flaws though) and still love the game despite Eggmanland. **** Eggmanland.

That's not even unpopular anymore. People are starting to hate Shadow more than 06. Especially after SomecallmeJohnny's review of both games.

Sonic abandoning the gameplay style of Adventure 1&2 was a bad decision, and continuing the with the gameplay style of Colours and Generations is the wrong direction to take the Sonic series in.

I want Zombies Ate My Neighbors content in Smash
I think Kirby deserves at least 4 characters
I would prefer Pichu over Wolf
I'm a Ridley supporter and I think Pyrosphere is a fun stage, specially with friends
I only support K.Rool thanks to nostalgia, not because I think he is "one of the most deserving characters"
Bomberman is the most deserving third party in my opinion

I suppose I have some I could share:

*Like I said in a post yesterday, I don't think if a game is the first in its series or is first to do something matters, if other games ended up doing it better. So I think the original Super Mario Bros. and Pokemon Red/Blue aren't good games and only have worth playing nowadays through nostalgia (or exploring all the crazy glitches in the latter). Likewise, "originality" is overrated.

*Judging by the reactions to the possibility of Shovel Knight getting into Smash, I would say people take the inclusion of third party characters way too seriously.

*I think the "original 12" is bull**** and people put way too much importance into it, a character being in the original Smash doesn't make them of upmost importance. As such, I don't think it would unreasonable to keep Jigglypuff low priority and cut her in a future Smash game if necessary.

*Pokemon Trainer was a terrible character concept that won't ever remotely justify its immense demands and it's good riddance that it was scrapped.

*Sakurai made the right decision to scrap the Ice Climbers when they wouldn't work on 3DS, and the idea of making them WiiU exclusive is terrible, when you could put the resources that would have went into them on a character that will work properly on both versions.

*I find the idea of "Sword Ganon" to be horribly uninteresting and an inferior moveset choice for Ganon. That said, I would like Ganon to be hybridized a little and have a couple of his moves use the sword and his magic, but maintaining his current style and moveset.

*I think Charizard has been horribly underrated in Smash 4 and has been a pretty decent character all along. Buuuuutttt I don't mind it, the Zard buffs only help me.

*I also think Smash 4 Marth/Falco have been unfairly judged and people can't let go of their old top tier selves. And Samus isn't as bad as the latest bandwagon makes her out to be.

*Master Core isn't that hard and people have been too soft about it.

*I think rage is a pretty neat mechanic and people are too whiny about the earlier kills it allows.

Yes I have, I saw BrainScratch play the game. Looks interesting, but I don't recognize any of the characters other than Kirito and Asuna.
