Ow the Edge is one of the worst Sonic games period, it tried way to hard to be edge and the story was a complete mess. The gameplay wasn't good either, it was very boring and lazy, and making Shadow an imortal alien was so stupid that I just can't go on. It's stupid.

It actually makes sense.

Watching some of the Hellfire Commentaries playthroughs of some of the Sonic games, they expressed the view that Shadow being created by the Black Arms (and thus making him a Half-Hedgehog Hybrid) was really stupid and not needed... but at the same time, they puzzled over how Professor Gerald, in his experiments to make the Ultimate Life-Form, went from The Biolizard to Shadow, with no other prototypes in the middle. That's when I realised that him being created by the Black Arms was actually necessary to explain why Gerald made the technological leap that he did: using his own intelligence and resources, the best he could come up with was the Biolizard, a creature which clearly wasn't up to scratch. At that point, he encountered the Black Arms, and they gave him the information and resources he needed to create Shadow — they actually say in the game that "He needed a little help", so they helped him out. The game Shadow the Hedgehog basically explains every plot hole from Sonic Adventure 2, both why the Eclipse cannon was made and how Shadow was made (sorry, Hellfire Commentaries - no offence was intended).

I wouldn't call it one of the worst. Is it stupid? Yes. Did it really need to exist? No. But incompetency can only go so far when Sega has proven that yes, they can do worse.

I disagree with having Shadow stay dead his main issue is that writers don't know what to do with him, case and point, Rise of Lyric. Ironically, Shattered Crystal gave us part of the Shadow we all knew and love, a no nonsense character who gets **** done, I also think Shadow was something 06 did pretty well. As for his own game...The 'candy from a baby' line is the best thing from it. It's so stupid

If anything, Kill la Kill is Kamen Rider. ****, it pretty much has the same ending as Kamen Rider OOO

Chip started something Sonic games improved on. Humor. Whether it was good in Unleashed is a different question, but they started trying being comedic in Unleashed's cutscenes, something that Colours, Generations and Lost World kept

Honestly, it's bull****. Some Christians are homophobic, yet Christians are almost always portrayalled as nice people, yet some muslims are terrorists, but they all get treated like terrorists. Granted, here in the Netherlands, muslim people act anti-social, but I'm certain that's just a coincidence

Eh, I'd rather they go back to dynamic story telling ala Sonic3&K instead of trying to be comedic. Comedy's not a bad thing to have if done right but it's too juvenile in Colors and Lost World.
