Wasn't expecting a Super Mario Maker stage announcement tbh. Looks pretty cool.

I think we'll see additional costumes (maybe a character?). It's 15 days away, so I imagine we are going to get some news every week.

I believe we are going to see another stage and more Mii Costumes. It is also the last chance for us to receive pre-ballot characters. If none is announced by the 30th, I will assume we are done with them and all future character announcements will be ballot choices.

If we have pre-ballot characters, I will guess eight. If we do not, I will guess six overall with speculation on the final two being Wolf and Bandanna/Waddle Dee or Paper Mario.

If we can't even get King K. Rool (who I assume is disconfirmed unless it is shown that characters announced as Mii Costumes can later on be playable), Isaac has almost no shot at being DLC. Frankly, an Isaac Mii Costume is far more likely than a playable spot.

You ever have one of those late night DLC conspiracy theories and start making a post about one, and then midway through realize a huge logical flaw in it and delete the whole thing? That just happened to me.

Also random discussion, but how would you guys feel if ***** and Cassidy suddenly returned in the XY anime and served as antagonists to both Ash and co. and Jesse and James? I think it would add a fresh coat of paint to the series and make it more interesting Team Rocket wise. I would love to see them back again.

I can only hope the stage that is being remade is FoD. Definitely my favourite stage from Melee and it would be nice to some old Melee stages brought back as DLC in Smash 4.

So the new stage has to be...

A) From an already existing series
B) A new series but one that doesn't have a new character as it would most likely be bundled with said character

If this is about the stage. It's the first stage we've gotten that's new, that's not free, and is not bundled with a character.

It's a whole 50 cent more than the remade classic stages.

Why is Super Mario Maker so expensive?

My guess is that it's because it probably took a decent amount more work than the other DLC stages. The other stages are pretty much static, whereas this not only moves around but is constantly changing and presents a different stage each time. Not to mention the four different aesthetics from the different game styles.

Making an interesting stage with Smash 4's stage creator is like trying to make an elaborate cake with just plain cake and one flavor of frosting.
I would gladly take an upgraded version of Brawl's with more freedoms.
Like mix-matching the block types with the level theme, cohesion be damned.
