The biggest thing in the last patch was that they removed 1 frame of invincibility from all the rolls, that's pretty cool IMO.
I hope they do it again, and also with the ledge invincibility and air dodges.

Nintendo should do what Melee SD Remix does; keep the best characters the way they are and buff the **** out of everyone else

That way, everyone is happy :)
That's nice and all in theory, but power creep is a thing, and balance is going to be adversely effected if you just keep buffing everyone up. Even Brawl Minus, the game that intentionally made everyone ludicrously overpowered, needed to nerf characters during updates to prevent power creep from getting out of hand. Additionally, trying to balance by buffing everyone up to the top tiers takes a lot longer and is much more prone to creating a new broken character that makes the balance worse than it was beforehand; especially in a game like Smash 4 where much of the cast is vastly unexplored and character perceptions are constantly in flux (like how you have characters like Marth and Falco and Meta Knight that are terribly underrated by a significant portion of the playerbase and would be hugely liable to break the game if they were given a "be as good as Sheik" buff).

Buffs should be preferred over nerfs always, but nerfs are a necessity and should be done when needed.

The Smash community is salty in general, it doesn't matter which side of the coin you are with. Competitive or otherwise (muh speculah), salt is going to be there.

I feel like Samus and Zelda are almost beyond saving at this point.

But then again I thought the same for Ike and now look at him.

That's a good point.

But some character still deserved some buffs since day 1 and never got them, like Samus.

I just want some buffs here and there; nothing that makes a character suddenly top tier.
inb4 fire emblem characters are buffed yet again

Even if said character is Mystery Creature?
Any of the non-borderline ridiculous choices.

Though my "tier list" in that regard would be Sylux>Rundas>Ridley(because currently unviable, if Ridley weren't a hazard he'd be on par with Sylux)>every other hunter>REMEMBAH ME.

Mystery Creature would be in a grey area, honestly, since it's a ridiculous choice but also Ridley, so...

@ PushDustIn PushDustIn I just realised something. Isn't it strange that the Koopalings aren't their own playable characters despite having defining characteristics from Bowser Jr. ?

Honestly, here's what I've felt with Ridley.

His normal design is awkwardly lanky at the scale of someone like Bowser. Other M's "Roidley" felt better suited to be the build of a fighter due to being bulkier.

It's just sad that the beak and... well, nature of Other M's reception keeps it so negitively viewed.

I won't go any further than that, but... I just hope that Roidley, or a future game's "bulkier" build gets better reception for it to be... more manageable. Yes, some fan hacks have gotten him to work fairly well, but I've seen some massive failures as well, and I feel that just beefing up his overall body would make it easier to convert him into a fighter.

I still think Bagan's PM Ridley is perfect - I don't care what anyone says.
Take the blueprint of that Ridley and place it in the hands of professional devs and you have a complete representation of Ridley.
Not big enough you say? Well, that's what Final Smashes are for. ;)

IMHO, Mystery Creature is a ridiculous choice solely for being a state of Ridley that isn't fully evolved space dragon mode.
I feel it would be a reasonable compromise (which I am sure most Ridley supporters would disagree with) due to the state having less issues to work with in comparison that Sakurai had with changing the fully evolved state:

-"Would have to be shrunk down." The adolescent stage would still have to be altered in that sense, but not to nearly the same degree as the adult stage. It'd be more like how Palutena and Ganondorf were altered.

-"Would have to have wings reduced in size." There are no visible wings to worry about. Just the tail, which can be scaled down like Mewtwo's and Charizard's (seriously; look at their main trophies, then their alt trophies and you'll see what I mean). And if anything, Sakurai could give the adolescent stage underdeveloped wings that retract into the feathers on his back that are used for recovery purposes only (i.e. last resort).

-"Would have to be unable to fly around freely." Can't fly under normal circumstances.

And seeing as Ridley has been established in terms of Smash (both Brawl and Smash 4) as having incredibly high defense (immune to flinching and knockback) and offensive capabilities that would make Ganondorf tremble, it would stand to reason that the evolutionary stage below the final form would be more "fair" as a fighter with more restricted offense and defense.

At least that's how I see it and why my initial vote was for Adolescent Ridley. *shrugs*

When could Joseph do the ORAORAORA?
Fun fact, both Joseph and Jotaro are in Smash. Chrom's VAs.?
Smash's real purpose from the beggining was to have a buncj of JoJo references hidden in the character's moveset because Sakurai didn't get the license to make a JoJo fighting game
We need a character that is a vampire with ice powers and that can stop time to be our Dio expy
Castlevania needs to have something along those lines

Also, Chrom's VA is the Japanese or English voice of the two JoJos?

*incredibly high defense (immune to flinching and knockback) and offensive capabilities that would make Ganondorf tremble
*I really would just want Metroid content, period. Mystery Creature leans more on ridiculous, though. Either Ridley or nothing, and regarding him, we're likely getting nothing this time. I won't deny Ridley's the optimal Metroid pick but he's univiable at the present time.

*Though...Sm4sh Ridley does get knocked down(ground) or knocked back(air) with enough damage, so doesn't Sm4sh Ridley subvert that? Ironically, in regards to this statement, Ganondorf with +200 Attack Equipment boosts(not that this will ever happen in most instances) can deal so much damage to Ridley with one Reverse Warlock Punch that the knockback is borderline extreme if Ridley is airborne, and it only takes 5-6 of these to kill Ridley outright(when boosted by Attack equipment that is).

English Chrom is Matthew Mercer, who voices Jotaro.
