So 9/11 is known but it's not on the publics mind like it is in America. 3/11 (The Earthquake and Tsunami) were bigger anniversaries... but my perception might be slanted as I moved to Fukushima after the disaster (don't worry, I don't have extra legs nor do I glow at night). I can go in depth my experiences living there if you guys are interested, but later. Tokyo Sarin Gas attacks get a lot of coverage too, but again that had a direct effect on people here. Anyhow, I need to sleep now!

TO BE FAIR I HAVEN'T TOUCHED THAT GAME SINCE I WAS 8.
AND YES I WAS A 8 YEAR OLD WHO BEAT THAT GAME AND GOT MORE OF THE HUMOR THAN I SHOULD HAVE.

Edit: And my parallel to Fire Emblem came more in the story itself, structuring of classes & promotions, and linear chapter-based battlles with little room to dare try to grind, while the isometric aspect of it does lend itself more to FFT. I haven't played Ogre Battle so I don't know on that comparison.

On a related note, Konami was my favorite publisher on PS1 by far. Metal Gear Solid, Vandal Hearts, Suikoden, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Silent Hill... These games just oozed quality. I'll even forgive the lackluster Contra game based on the strength of everything else

First off "repping" is dumb.
2nd no one from he series other than baby bowser, baby mario, and Kamek have any importance.
No one likes baby characters and Kamek is an ascended mook that isn't even that important in general. Let yoshi stay his own thing because there isn't a necessary character from he series.
