I have a feeling if anything is shown it'll be under embargo until e for all next week...and I'd love to see a new trailer for the game- put in some gameplay, more of those "newcomer" things...maybe not show any new characters but video for the new characters...

I think that'd work...

I think we will get a few leaked photos. But probably of just a video.

Like those Snake pics from about a week back. ;)

Embargoing the information until the following week for E for All is so like Nintendo. However, it isn't out of the ballpark for there to be leaked photos of the showing. If anything, the most we can get out of this without it being embargoed is Sonic. If the information is embargoed the most we'll get are leaked photos of the footage showed there. If no appearance at all, wait until E for All next week.

They should reveal at least 1 character. Hopefully Isaac.
Hell yeah they should but I don't see it happening, I think the only possibility of a previously unshown character would be shiek and that's assuming zelda is playable at the event

most likely this will result in nothing about brawl, just as previous press conferences have announced virtually nothing

I think tomorrow.

I'm not getting my hopes up. They wont't reveal anything, just like last time.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl playable at E for All! Link’s Crossbow Training, Galaxy, and more!
Want to Play Galaxy and Brawl? Visit Nintendo’s Booth at E for All.

You might want to get in line for Nintendo’s booth at the E for All Expo now.

Nintendo will be showing a huge lineup of cool games for both Wii(TM) and Nintendo DS(TM), including the hugely anticipated Super Mario(R) Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. (R) Brawl. The Oct. 18-22 event at the Los Angeles Convention Center will be the first opportunity for the public to get their hands on these games and take them for a test drive.

In addition, Nintendo will host a daily Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament. Competitors get a free Wii-themed T-shirt, and a different T-shirt will be available each day of the show.

Although the lineup is subject to change, the complete list of games for Nintendo systems scheduled to appear at E for All include:

I thought the topic creator said that the Nintendo conference was tommorrow
It is... Ok, listen carefully. There are 2 conferences. The first one is tomorrow, October 10th. Tomorrow, we will get Sonic's revelation. The second conference is E for All, which is on the 18th and that is where Brawl is playable. Make sense?

Go to the Sonic thread. Someone who has been here since 2002 said feel free to ban him if Sonic is not revelaed on Wednesday. Sounds like he/she knows whats their talking about.

I'm thinking something big tomorrow, a 3rd party character, most likely.

What time would the conference be? It's in Japan, so it's probably about or before the time that the Smash Dojo updates, right?

Japan conference is going on right now I think. So far all we've got is a Wii firmware update that's changed nothing.

Edit nvm.

Oh and Internet Channel has been updated:
- USB keyboard compatible
- links received on the Wii message board now open in Internet Channel
- can send links to friends
- can copy text from the page being viewed and paste it into a search

From that topic. It could be from Famitsu though. But if it's from Famitsu it's still the info we'll probably get at the conference. I'm pretty sure the conference is going on right now.
