Looks like Nintendo really wants to push SMT x FE, this is amazing.

How does the club nintendo deals even work? Do you buy the game on the eShop (example), connect your 3DS to club Nintendo, and the survey pops up on your account? The directions are kind of vague to newcomers.

You need to make a Club Nintendo account first. You then tie your 3DS to the account via the eShop, it's somewhere in settings/other (this is important if you are doing eshop purchases, as if you're not linked at the time of purchase it won't register, even though you own the game).

Games registered show up on your Club Nintendo account and you then take the survey. If you have physical copies of eligible games there's always a Club Nintendo insert in the box with a code you enter to register the game.

You get points.
You either spend them or save them for cool rewards such as the giant AR card or an extended warranty for your system.

I bought 3 games with the points I've gathered, punch out and such.

Haha, Atlus did not hold back for the beginning of this game. The tutorial wants you dead, they don't even give you one free demon like the other games.

I've loved every minute that I have played. The music has been great too.

A Pixie will join you at the beginning of Nocturne and Strange Journey, SMT IV just tells you to go recruit three demons yourself.

actually a question i have now is what comes next? The 3ds is an epic system and all, but miyamoto said they most likely won't make another installment of the 3ds line. No doubt they'll keep riding the wave of sales from 3ds for quite some time, but when do you think their next handheld comes out? That's my question.

At first I missed having that old fusion chart that lists the demons you currently have with you, then I noticed you can include all the demons from your compendium during a search. Having a list of every demon you can currently fuse is amazing. You also don't need to summon a demon from the compendium beforehand when you want to use it in a fusion, you just have to pay for it when you start a fusion.

I think this is my favorite Demon Fusion system in any SMT game, I'm probably going to get lost in the Cathedral of Shadows once I can get enough Macca.

shantae came out today, and SMTIV came in the mail. I'm really enjoying it, it feels familiar but different (first try in the series for me)

I'm loving Shantae. After I beat I'll go back to playing Shantae: Risky's Revenge a second time. And I can't wait for Shantae and Pirate's Curse so I can have the Shantae trilogy on my 3DS.

And I still find it crazy that both Shantae & EarthBound are highly praised games that their cartridge forms are super rare and valuable and yet they were both released digitally on the very same day.

So, I FINALLY caved and, thanks to some gift cards and that, I picked up Resident Evil Revelations and Fire Emblem Awakening (along with Gods Eater Burst, and Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for PSP) for like under $40 total, so I'm totally stoked to get playing them.

I wish my eShop accounts on 3DS and Wii U were connected. I used the $30 credit on Wii U, purchasing Earthbound (which is my favorite RPG of all time and the reason why I main Ness in Smash). I want to get Shantae too. Loved Risky's Revenge. I'm hoping Sakurai throws in one "indie" rep at least. Either it be Quote from Cave Story or Shantae.

And then comes Pikmin 3 next month and I have yet to finish up FEA and Project X Zone. These deals and special editions hafta stop

I've heard that you would want to focus on Dexterity if you want to go physical. Also worth mentioning that the MC can't inherit passive skills, so I don't know if he could ever get Pierce, if it's even in the game.

Nope, you don't. Some of the past games are related or loosely related for hardcore fans. This one is standalone with some references.

Is it that bad? I downloaded it on eShop and I was planning to find a way to get the extra bonuses without having to pay the full price at Gamestop.
