Played Project X Zone demo and am unimpressed. Hopefully demo B will change my mind. It is cool seeing all of this characters together, but the game is rather boring to play. (Also, you can cheat 5 uses if you leave the demo on constantly like I do.)

While I'm on the fence of buying it still, I think the game's going to do poorly (or at least get a lot of negative reception).

People are going to walk in expecting something like FE or Tactics instead of SRW for sure.

I'm interested to see how much potential the combo system will have later on in the game. I don't think I did my juggles as well as I could've from the support and solo, but hopefully there's something more. I don't like how the item system is handled though. The game's going to get repetitive which is why I'm holding off on it, but I do kind of want to support Namco in finally bringing in niche titles.

Minato, I agree. I think PxZ looks pretty fun and interesting, so I'll be getting it. Fans and critics are hard to please though, and I'm sure it will reflect on this particular title.

On the other hand, Animal Crossing tomorrow! :3

Nothing really seems good for the 3ds in the near future. Animal crossing sucks (i am obviously a minority on this).

Smash Bras and Pokeemans.

Speaking of Animal Crossing I'm conflicted between getting the digital version or the retail game. Which one should I get?

I got the retail copy, but I'm not going to be playing anything else for a while. Depends on your needs, I guess. I'd probably get the digital version if I was intending on playing other games while playing AC, but I'm not, so...

Anyway, TODAY.

I respect that. I, on the other hand, think that there are plenty games on the 3DS to be excited for.

I already have a bunch of games (RE:R/kid ic/kart/fire emblem...ect) and def love them all. i was just talking about future releases. AC has never appealed to me.

I learned how the combo system works so, I think I may enjoy it, even though I'm concerned about the potential shallowness. And I do want Game & Wario on Wii U that comes around the same time... Oh what to do.

Anyhow, been playing Animal Crossing the whole day and absolutely love it. I'm so close to being apporved as Mayor and I'm trying to catch this stupid tarantula for one of my visitors. First one I saw, i had forgotten that they chase after you when they pull the net. Second one was in a crowd of trees, running in between them and I was pacing around not knowing how to approach it. Third one was behind my tent, pulled out my net, and it just stood there as I snuck towards it. I was in what I thought was a good position to swing the net. I missed it due to some collision tent my tent, and I was done for....

First encounter was my best chance as it was in an open field where my flowers were.

Started with peaches, was given cherries by Shizue Isabelle, and a villager gave me a lemon, which was totally awesome. My friend code is 3754-7032-7366, and I'll add any of you that post your friend code. I'm currently working on getting money from fishing to start my transformation into a turnip baron this Sunday.

I almost have the entire exterior of the sweet set.

Sweet house, sweet roof, sweet door.

Just need pavement and fence I guess.

Edit: Dang, there is a sweets mailbox too I guess. I've only got half the stuff

I posted the video here cause he definitely deserves more attention.

I agree. I've actually been subscribed to the guy for a while. He makes great videos, and I like how his game reviews are actually informative. I feel like the pitfalls that many game-related youtube channels/web shows fall into is that their reviews may be funny, but they don't do anything to inform you about the game.

Agreed, ProJared's got some pretty good stuff on his channel, but then again I've been checking out his stuff since he worked at Screwattack and they did Maro Party during that 24 hour stream. His reviews are pretty good (even his One Minute Reviews), and for some reason his Pokemon Nuzlocke Challenge stuff is amazing to watch...and I don't even follow Pokemon.

When in doubt, always NUPTUP.

As for there being a 2nd Project X Zone demo, that would be pretty awesome, since I'd certainly like to get to play more sooner rather than later. That being said, I for some reason have been getting the strange urge to track down the .Hack games (or at least the main 4 PS2 ones, and the PSP one).

Oh man, I remember when Cartoon Network used to show .Hack late at night before Adult Swim was a thing. I never played any of the games, although I remember one of my friends rented one of them forever ago. Those games always looked interesting to me but I just never got around to playing them. But since now I'm PS2 and PSP-less I guess I'll never get that chance unless an HD collection is released.

Oh how I wish these characters were in a fighting game roster. I would've loved if PxZ was a special thing where each company made their own game out of it.

You mean like how the original Capcom vs SNK deal had Capcom making Capcom vs SNK, and SNK making SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos?

Pretty much. There are a lot of characters I like in these companies, and I'd like to see something out of a crossover than just an SRPG.

Earlier today I downloaded the Etrian Odyssey IV demo. I went in fully expecting it to be little more than a run-of-the-mill JRPG and was willing to endure all of the lolis and oniichans the game had to throw at me.

Suddenly Eye of the Beholder, and its amazing. I suppose that's what I get for judging a book by its cover.

I just tried the PxZ demo, I thought it was interesting.

However, money is kind of tight for me and Shin Megami Tensei IV is more important right now, so it will have to wait.

I'm going to pass on it. As much as I would like to use the characters in that game, I'm pretty picky on SRPGs.

Muramasa just came out on Vita also, which I might get.

I'm happy for Vita players, but I was really hoping that Nintendo would keep Muramusa as their own Nintendo gem. Now that its on the Vita, it might be the last time we see an installment of the series on a Nintendo console. I was personally hoping that a sequel would come out on the 3DS.
