I lose more hope for Kablam every day
Like I said it's mostly an issue with the Toasters' music and some of its non-main sketches. Nickelodeon/Nicktoons has rerun its four main sketches (Sniz & Fondue, Action League Now, Prometheus & Bob, Life with Loopy) separate from Kablam itself. I remember Nicktoons showing P&B a lot between shows.

I think KaBlam is more of a rights issue due to all the different shorts and license music. Don’t got nothing for Making Fiends though, rip
Making Fiends only aired on Nicktoons, FREAKING NICKTOONS! not a lot of people saw it because nick left it their for some to notice it...myself included.

Had they showed it off on the main network it could've had some cult status.

Time to watch people speculate endlessly about the possibility of a licensed game by indie devs showing up here when the showcase itself just so happens to be the same day as Nicktoons 30th anniversary

Personally not expecting anything but hey indie showcase, that’s cool
Tbf we got that in the last indie direct with Shredder's Revenge and Getsu Fuma

Getsu Fuma being a Konami IP licensed to an indie

I want more Nick info. But I also want more info on House of the dead.

Nick info is a "would be nice" kind of deal, but for the record, I'm still waiting for details of Shredder's Revenge's release, because that is releasing this year too. And the Switch release for that was announced on Indie World.

Meanwhile, Hollow Knight fans still have yet to get ANYTHING for Silksong.

Also I have a proposal for a third TMNT rep (should we not get the other 2 TMNT) or a fifth TMNT rep (should we get all 4 TMNT): Jennika

She has wolverine-esque claws, a short sword, bow and arrow and is a big fan of punk rock so she could have music themed attacks as well. She’s from IDW’s TMNT comic book series that released a few years ago and became a big fan favorite, getting two whole spinoff series since. Shredder would be sick too but this design is practically begging to be put in a fighting game

I did not know there was a thread for this.

Well, give me Stick Stickly, the Dancing lobsters, Jimmy, Steve and Blue, and some are you afraid of the dark representation please.

I don't think AGU is the only solution to the Rugrats dilemma - I've already mentioned the Reptar Wagon a few times, but another alternative could be having Stu and Tommy as a tag team fighter a la Duck Hunt, with Tommy in a carrier.
Honestly, Stu, Hugh, and Timmy’s dad are all iconic enough to be standalone fighters imo.

Especially Stu. He’s an inventor they could go wild with that moveset. Having the Reptar wagon as a side special would be sweet.

Or the Pterodactyl wings as a recovery.

Sadly, likely not going to happen for as far as I'm aware, that show isn't Nick owned. It was aired ON Nick but it was, like a lot of odd ball 90's TV, actually a Canadian produced show that needed someone to air it in the States, so Nick was it.

I know, which is disappointing. Still if we got like a Stage of the campfire, that be pretty cool.

I think for me what it is is that while this game has certainly grown on me enough to seriously consider getting it, I feel like I need a little bit more info (like a few more characters revealed or details on potential single-player modes) before I decide whether I want to pre-order it or not.

So the wait combined with the assurance from the developers that an update is coming "soon" (however long that is) and the reveal trailer being the only real source of gameplay right now is admittedly leaving me a tad antsy.

It did seem like a far shot for Brawl to get news on an anniversary, seeing as Ludosity would take their time to finish the game anyway.

Yeah, I liked seeing more about metal slug tactics.
The fact that it's coming to Nintendo Switch is something I've been waiting for these past couple of months, so it's the biggest highlight for me (second being Pocket Dungeon by this Christmas).

I know I'll be getting it on Switch but I might seriously consider getting it on X-Box or PC to take advantage of the roll back net code. Depending on just how bad the Switch net code ends up being. Though, that also depends on how 'seriously' I decide I want to play the game. I just want to get my hands on it, even if it turns out to be crummy (Which, I seriously doubt it'll be anything other than 'better than it has the right to be') it just looks like a good time.

Didn't the kart racers just get revealed, go completely quiet, then release a trailer right before launch? Sure hope that doesn't happen here.
If Nick are creatures of habit, I wouldn't be shocked if that's the case. Even next month's presumable standard Direct wouldn't be assured to show anything for Brawl under those conditions, but at least we kind of know when the game will launch anyways.

I wouldn't expect this game to ever be showcase in a direct honestly. Nintendo direct are also aimed at Japanese gamers, and I don't know how popular Nick shows are there.

Honestly I feel like we're going to get another trailer at the end of the month. The dev did say we will have more news soon, and the game will release in early october, so the wait shouldn't be that long.

The only spot for such a trailer is Gamescom.

You say this as if Nintendo didn't shove a trailer for DC Super Hero Girls into their first direct in over a year

On GameMill's website it mentions a Gallery feature - could just be misleading fluff like the extra moves thing, but it makes me really hopeful we get episodes on-disc as bonus content, I had the CN Racing game as a kid and that was a super cool feature.
I think that would be like Smash Bros' Masterpieces that appeared in Brawl and the Wii U version of Smash 4.
