If this is about their "street cred" or how they'll look with NASB on their Switch home menu, there's something horribly wrong here and it has nothing to do with NASB.

I'm sure on your home planet the game's lack of input lag is enough to get people to play NASB, but on Earth, compliments about NASB's gameplay are still drowning in a sea of complaints about content that only apply to the first game's launch.

I never said anything about gameplay or content??? I think? I was talking about the idea of only playing games that contribute positively to "street cred", or only finding certain games "okay" to play if they're percieved a certain way.

Not to trivialze the loss of life, as any loss is tragic, but the whole thing really is irrelevant. Its not that well known an incident outside of online circles. The shooters obsession with Ember, could have been any character. I really don't see why something like this would stop them from putting a still very popular character in a fighting game

I will say that I did bring it up a few times in regards to being hesitant about seeing Ember as a fighter for similar reasons. One could say that Ember as a character is a bit ruined for me knowing what that psycho did in her name. Which is a shame, because she's a really cool character in design and backstory.

That said this dude is mixing up this crime with another one, I think, as the perpetrator's name was not Andrew Blaze...

Regardless, Ember is likely part of the roster, so there's no point in talking about it anymore. Let's stop giving the psycho a legacy.

I agree, this topic is really not relevant, and it Is pointless to explore it further.
Also one last thing, the perpetrator was indeed named Andrew Blaze, that was not his legal name, but it was his preferred name and he apparently hated his legal name.
Not that I have any respect for him, but I think it’s best to use the name he didn’t hate.

I 100% expect Plankton to have some sort of trap in his moveset (maybe in the form of that robot patty to reference the "MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE" meme, since Ludosity is quite fond of doing that)

I expect the Angry Beavers to be seperate and not handled like Ren & Stimpy - Either as clones of each other with seperate slots or a tag-team deal.

For El Tigre, maybe a semi-zoner because of how his claws are known to extend.

For Plankton, he's probably gonna be a traditional heavyweight considering how big the robot looks.

For Ember, I'm not entirely sure, other than it'll involve music, so maybe she'll have some moves that can induce different effects?

For Gertie, I'm just gonna say that she's going to be a pretty whacky character alongside the likes of Powdered Toast Man and Hugh.

For Gerald, I'm honestly not sure.

Maybe Azula can have some sort of rushdown/pressure based playstyle?

While you may not like it, I'm currently working under the assumption that the Beavers are some form of duo fighter, though I'm not sure how the execution would be on that.

Papagenos, who claims to have seen models for the characters, says Plankton's Robot is the biggest character in the game, so I'd expect some MVS Iron Giant in there since iirc Thaddeus praied that character

This was back when PG leaked that Dog Suit GIR was in the game. There was some talk about whether GIR was now on his own or not, with PG confirming that if he was, then he wouldn't be part of the seven that he listed.

Yet I don't see a source. Next time, learn to back your claims up as this is just talk unless you have the source.

Well, that checks out with what we know, right?



Three of those are on the box, and the 4th has been seen by leakers but they weren't 100% sure if they were playable or not.

Counterpoint is that Smash, and Nintendo as a whole, had plenty of reddit thread leaks due to PracticalBrush12 more or less vomiting out Nintendo Direct news before it was ever known(And even got copyright struck by Capcom for doing so).

Yet it's the veterans that are the hard info to get.

Continuing from the whole idea of stance-fighter Beavers, isn't one of their running gags rolling around as a wheel while beating one another up? I could see that being pretty fun as a stance change move - Roll forwards to approach as the more bruiser-like Dagget, roll backwards to get in the right position for more reserved Norbert.

I just wanna see what the models for Dag and Norb look like. I know 3D modeling and sculpting for physical merchandise are two different things, but I'm mostly wondering about Norb since he's always been the harder of the two to get looking right.

Weighing in on the whole Ember debate, while I doubt the incident people are alluding to realistically affected her chances, she is kind of inextricably tied to that for people who do know about it and I hope appearances like this will go a long way in breaking that association.

I can smell this blatant attempt to derail the subject so you don't have to deal with the fact that we want NASB to be more than just your personal hiding place from a mile away.

Plankton's probably gonna be a MAD toxic superheavy with super armor on half his moves who lives until 200 and kills you in one edgeguard. In short, I'm probably gonna hate him and wish we just got Krabs instead.
Beavers I see as an Icies-esque duo, seeing as this game seems to be from the ground up and might be able to handle that ****, though they could be a Zelda/Sheik gimmick as well.
El Tigre I can see being rushdown, but that's based solely on appearance since I admittedly know very little of what he actually does in the show.
Azula could probably be something of a ranged glass cannon, if her firebending and lightning-shooting abilities are anything to go by.
Ember could maybe have a moveset based on buffing herself with music or something? I dunno, I'm not at all familiar with her abilities.
Gertie I'm betting is gonna be weird and unintuitive like Hugh: slow and glassy with few (if any) ranged options, so I'm probably not gonna like her much.
Gerald I have no idea, he's the wildcard pick as far as moveset IMO.

Nah, I don't know what I was thinking with that anyway (besides GamingGryff calling your BS out), let alone reading the status updates. I just had a bad sleep last night (although I am disappointed in how there are people who still think NASB never changed regardless)
