How the heck did they miss stock for the second largest country in the world that is literally right on top of the USA?
I also tried going on the American Amazon site to order it but the switch version won't show up...
Something's up with the physical editions, at least for certain consoles it seems
I believe there's been a global shipping shortage/issue so that could be it, but like all the stores were stocked full of other new releases so I dunno
Ironically, the user in question actually despises the game solely due to roster choices rather than any other aspect of the game, which, yeah, no comment...
It's good to see him not put most of the older Louds in the Red section though, even if grey is the "unsure" pile.
Honestly, I wouldn't mind those two, especially Bob since playable cavemen in video games are fun to me.

I have no idea! I am also in Canada and I had an Amazon Canada order of the PS5 version which I was going to cancel (as I got it digitally on Switch) until Amazon cancelled it for me due to not having any stock. Given that + EBGames + Best Buy all not having them, it seems to just be MIA from Canada ATM, unless they gave all the stock to, like, Toys R Us or some other retailer I would never think to check...
Obviously the physical cartridges were made fairly last-minute, but this is still definitely an oddity.

At this point it feels like Nick initially had even less faith in this game than we actually thought. Even Kart Racer 2 of all things got more stock, apparently.

In complete and total fairness, there's also a lot of supply-chain ****ery going on with COVID that's affecting pretty much all industries at this point. I highly doubt some Nick exec leaned back in his office chair and said "let's just not make physical copies of this one".
Thaddeus posted this a while ago and he's been updating it, there may be more stuff in the actual patch though, he's mentioned dash-dancing recently but that might be in a future patch idk.

Honestly what amazes me the most is the Helga change as her taking damage when landing the counter was shown in her showcase to the point I'm legit amazed it took a this long for us to see it, same goes for Patrick's input move when we were told it would get armour for the input version
I don't know if anyone's brought this up, but with the way attack animations are in this game, should Arnold being a pacifist and the Rugrats being babies really matter?
Arnold can just contribute to NASB's collection of non-fighting attacks, and what would be beating Tommy to death would be...PTM saluting and then licking him, Patrick putting a trophy on his head, and April taking pictures.

Especially considering that the characters do not show any signs of visible injuries. All the violence in this game is purely slapstick and there would be no problem with putting the babies in this game.

In terms of Arnold I think he's kinda unneccesary and more a completionist pick than a character who actually makes sense to have a moveset, though I'm all for the babies.
Arnold straight up attacking other characters doesn't feel right and I don't really think you could get away with making him look as clueless about fighting as Isabelle.
He's definitely not impossible but you'd have to put a lot of work into making him not feel out of character.
Regardless whether it's fine or not, it's bleeding weird how none of the Rugrats babies show up in any form at all. What on Earth is Ludosity up to...?
That said, as far as completionist picks go, the ones I'd fully 100% vouch for are Donatello and Raphael, seeing as it would look bad for the TMNT fandom if even Brawlhalla had them all and not this. Also, the possibility of having Garfield show them all that he can fight like a ninja too, not just Leo and Mikey.

Well at any rate it should at the very least be rectified by Christmas. We'll probably get to see the bonus characters by then.
Does anyone know how to unlock all of the profile icons?
As far as I know, the only way to unlock anything is by playing classic mode. But I counted it up and even if you do it with every character there would still be 25 locked icons.

Watch out, Patrick mains are gonna come full force.

Probably done by beating the game without game overs, and/or playing on higher difficulties.

As others have pointed out, there are COVID-related supply chain issues going on, but, moreover, I think the game just went gold quite last-minute, so I imagine production of cartridges/disks has been super rushed. Like, Rep was discussing adding features into the base version of the game, like, ~4 weeks before launch? Not a lot of time to put data in cartridges and ship them worldwide, especially during a pandemic.
Well, I've spent the weekend basically playing the game, getting used to its quirks compared to Smash, and trying to at least get something of a grasp on all twenty characters.
And so far? I'm really enjoying the game! It's fast-paced, fun, the roster is very solid with a good mix of old and new characters as well as a lot of unexpected choices like Powdered Toast Man, April O'Neil, and Oblina thrown in, a lot of the characters are very satisfying to play as (and even the ones that are lower on my list are still enjoyable in their own right), most of the stages are enjoyable (although there's a handful that I'm not really a fan of), and the music is generally very good.
If I had some minor complaints, it'd be that 1. I kind of wish there were more defensive options than just the basic block; there were situations playing against the AI where I was being comboed and it felt like there wasn't anything I could do due to how limited aerial defense feels, 2. I'm not really a fan of how every character seems to fall like a rock when they're in a tumble state, which makes recovering a bit of a pain, and 3. Maybe it's just me, but grabbing in this game feels just a tad clunky at times.
However, those frustrations are by no means deal-breakers and the game is still really fun regardless; this was definitely worth the extended wait!
And now, here's my current list of favorite to least-favorite characters in the game so far. Keep in mind that A. I enjoy playing as every character to differing extents, and B. This list is subject to change both with patches and just me getting better with certain fighters.
So anyway, here you go:
1. Aang
2. Danny Phantom
3. Powdered Toast Man
4. Oblina
5. CatDog
6. April O'Neil
7. Nigel Thornberry
8. Ren & Stimpy
9. Lincoln Loud
10. Zim
11. Lucy Loud
12. Sandy Cheeks
13. SpongeBob SquarePants
14. Leonardo
15. Korra
16. Helga
17. Reptar
18. Michelangelo
19. Patrick Star
20. Toph
Now to wait for news on the two post-launch characters (as well as future DLC).

Glad to hear that you enjoyed two of my mains enough to be in your Top 10, though I do assume Ludosity will presumably come up with ways to enhance the gameplay in future patches.
That's the most plausible outcome, seeing as things like Metroid Dread and even Doki Doki Literature Club came through just fine. Wouldn't be surprised, considering how rushed the game's marketing was.

In regards to the patches, I'm wondering when they'll start adding extra features, like a Polygon Fighting Team equivalent and the sorely missing alts.

Ah. Yeah, Powdered Toast Man is insane in the best way possible! And April's really good as well, and I found killing with a fully-charged Neutral Special to be very satisfying!
I also imagine, if nothing else, that alts will be among the first things they patch in considering that from an audience perspective, there's no easy way to tell the players apart.

They've already said that the alts will be coming "very soon," so I'd honestly expect them within the month unless they're holding out for the first post-launch character(s) or something.
Jimmy, Jenny, and Timmy continue to dominate, to nobody's surprise. More SpongeBob, Avatar, and TMNT reps are also doing pretty well, with the notable exception of Pearl from SpongeBob who is in the bottom 5. Dreamworks characters are doing pretty well, so people seem to like the idea of them getting in regardless of the plausibility.
The top 90s rep is Rocko at 7th place (technically it is Squidward, but most consider SpongeBob's premire the end of the era that was 90s Nick). The top 2000s rep is Jimmy Neutron in 1st place. The top 2010s rep is Rango at 23rd place. The top 2020s rep is Miko in 44th place. Blue from Blue's Clues is the top Nick Jr rep at 26th place.
Bottom two reps are both from very modern shows, Parker J. Cloud from Middlemost Post and the titular Pinky Malinky. I'm a bit sad to see Parker that low; I haven't seen any of the show yet, but it seems like a very creative premise for telling a very personal story.

Does the game crash for anyone else when they try to play online? It started out pretty infrequent, but now it's to the point that 9 times out of 10 it crashes. Is this an Xbox One specific issue?

Fanboy & Chum Chum are the highest characters of their OWN series infront of Kyle and Boog, strangely funny but also interesting despite placing around the 40's.
The Catscratch Trio and Parker being this low saddens me, Miko's placement has me a little curious as i thought she was one of the most requested characters, same said with Kappa Mikey too.
Otis being in the 10's makes me a little relief since it shows that people are still wishing to see Barnyard in this game. maybe if Nick were to let Otis in, they'd be willing to drop their potential stinginess of ignoring the series for the sake of the show's fans(though if they hated barnyard then why show reruns of it on tv?)
Yeah, the reviews seem to say that it isn't amazing, but it is a solid foundation to be built off of... I should also check it out at some point.
If they do do another one like this, it'd be interesting to see the data we'd get if it also asked some basic demographic info (age, gender, country, etc)... I'm curious how different things are depending on how long ago you were a kid what aired around you, and what shows were marketed at you constantly...
Yeah, I'm surprised Rango did that well as well! We'll see if he makes it in; he'd be a funny surprising choice and definitely has the moveset potential.
Modern + Blurring The Line Between 2D and Live-Action is a bad 1-2 combo, I suppose...
I dunno, I played a few games on Rooftop earlier tonight and they were smooth as butter, for the most part. If you're still running into issues, you either don't have the update yet or it's just a you thing at that point.
