Don't worry, Seattle is the city of paying for overpriced past-their-prime receivers. Not ready to shut the door on Sidney Rice yet. But TO. Jerry Rice. Deion Branch. TJ Houshmandzadeh.

How was TO overpriced? Dude didn't even get a guaranteed contract lol.

TJ Housh, sure. Deion Branch did pretty well once he got out of Seattle xP.

That's also the curse of Seattle

Jamie Moyer, A-Rod, Randy Johnson, and potentially Ichiro. Letting go of guys that end up winning championships lol.

Meh, I guess the price of TO is correct. But we're always bringing in receivers past their prime.

Disappointing game today as a Seahawks fan. Was really annoyed at how Pete Carroll tried to onside kick to start the half, gave up a free 3 points. It felt like he did it because his pride was hurt at the fake field goal. Penalties at crucial times, not getting off on the field on 3rd down, and not converting on 3rd down. Same problem different week. Will not understand why when we're averaging 5 yards a carry on 3rd and 2 deep in their territory they call for a designed Russell Wilson run. Like, please. You ask beastmode to get you 2 he gets you 5 minimum. Oh well, always next week. If the Dolphins win it's still just 1 game back, but disappointing at the chance we had.

Rex is making it real hard to be a Jets fan. That should be a real eye opener.

I wasn't expecting them to win against the Niners, but I was expecting a fight.

So.. If anyone watched the Seahawks game -- What are your thoughts on the offense? Seattle fans seem mixed that it's time for Flynn, some think it's our WR corps being below average, some thing it's the offensive coordinator.

I really don't think Russell Wilson is the problem. Sidney Rice is ok. Golden Tate is ok. Doug Baldwin is on a humungous sophomore slump. And no one else isn't worth mentioning their name. The first and third INT of the game wasn't his fault, but when people see the stats and go "ohh, 3 INTS.. uh oh" they instantly just go "FLYNN! FLYNN! FLYNN!" It's sad when you don't give up an offensive touchdown and your team doesn't win the game. It's just.. I've never seen a Seattle offense look this bad.. It's so painful to watch. I don't even know who the Seahawks would use in the draft, because if our offense doesn't improve, I don't think we can get a wild card spot I was hoping for no matter how good the D performs. Do they give in and go "**** it, QB!" do you risk it and go for a first round WR?

There's only 2 teams that need to think QB, and thats Arizona and the Jets. And considering one is 4-0 and the other got shut out, Its kinda obvious where Matt Barkley is most needed.

Besides, we all know what happened the last time Arizona drafted a Trojan QB :awesome:

Well, what would you do with the Seahawks offense then if you were the head coach/OC? Is it just a "tough it out type thing" because our WR's just aren't good enough?

I mean, I'm still hoping there can be a drastic turn-around, but I'm losing faith in the possibilities of our offense being mediocre. Poor Beastmode, I'll never blame him though.

Wilson's fine. Overreacting too much over 1 bad game. Besides, what you guys are doing with wilson reminds me of what be did with ben his rookie year. Rely on your strong run game and only throw if needed. Ben only had about 2,600 yards as a rookie. And we had one of the elite run games then since bill cowher was the coach.

I know the Rams are competitive, but the offense is a glaring issue still. Let's be honest -- When you get 8 sacks in the first half, you shouldn't have to win by a controversial hail mary call. and then vs the rams, they (Rams) score no offensive touchdowns and you have ~180 rushing yards and you lose? So what happens when Beastmode gets shut down? Dare I imagine..

I guess it's just worry for concern. Some people think Seattle fans have no standards, but THIS YEAR I was expecting to atleast get a wild card. I wasn't thinking "Aw we're so young we'll get them in a few years" And for Pete Carroll's sake, he doesn't HAVE a few years if we don't do something. Another 7-9 season and he'll really be on the hot seat. Us Seattle fans have a lot of pride, we made the playoffs from 2003 - 2007 and then the surprise 2010 playoff visit. We're accustomed to being there, and it sucks when you aren't.

And what's equally alarming is the coaching. Pete Carroll said he tried to call a time out on the fake field goal when he noticed Amendola, so I'll give him that. But then he starts the 2nd half with an onside kick when we're down 7? Why? It felt like his ego and pride were hurt so he had to try to get them back. It almost worked, but it gave them a free 3 points and put them up two possessions. Why do that? That 3 points came back to bite us, we would have only needed a field goal to send it to overtime. And then on 3rd and 2 deep in their territory in the 4th quarter, we have ~180 rushing yards.. And wait.. YOU WANT TO DO A DESIGNED RUSSELL WILSON RUN INSTEAD OF FEEDING THE BEAST? WHY?! THAT SAME ****ING PLAY GOT US IN TROUBLE VS GREEN BAY ON 3RD AND 1. It's like they don't use their damn brains sometimes when they're playcalling.

Not many QBs in the NFL that are 5'10 and go onto be successful. Wilson cannot see the short routes as well when he's standing the pocket. So I'm not sure if he's the long term answer unless he improves his accuracy considerably.

68% is pretty accurate.. And vs Dal he only had 5 incompletions.. It's hard to complete passes with no one is competent on the WR list besides Rice and Tate XD Miller is legit though but they leave him to block a lot due to the OL.

Yes! The Bears win restores my confidence slightly about my pre-season prediction of a Bears/Texans Superbowl. I don't truly believe that will happen because the NFC has beast teams like San Fransisco for instance. Overall I have Chicago going in as a wildcard and then getting hot in the playoffs, like the Giants did in 2008 and 2012.

On another note...it looks like another long season for Lions fans. That is the worst special teams defense I've ever seen. They gave up a kick off TD and and punt return TD to both the Titans and the Vikings.

Mike Williams had a good year with Hasselbeck, had a pretty blah year with Tavaris Jackson (But let's be fair.. It was Tavaris Jackson playing QB..) and then I guess he was fatter this year and lazier so Pete Carroll let him go

0-4 for fantasy.

Seems when I decide to give someone who has been consistent a chance, I get the shaft.

TE Kyle Rudolph of the Vikings has gotten 10+ last three weeks and managed to earn 1 this week. Last week I start Scott Chandler, TE of the Bills, and he manages 3 points, meanwhile all other weeks he gets 10+. The TE I picked up during draft was Jermain Gresham of the Bengals. I started him first two weeks and he manages maybe 5 points each week. So I bench him week 3 and he gets 16 points.

My luck with TEs has been abysmal thus far.

Also, my defense is the Jets. I don't need to explain that travesty.

:sigh:

If it makes you feel better, going into last nights matchup to defend my undefeated Fantasy Season, i was down 9 points primarily due to Ray Rice underperforming heavily, a mediocre showing from Eli, and a bad showing from Steve Smith. My opponent had Cam Newton getting 31 poiints and other rare showings.

I had Miles Austin and he had Murray and the Bears D, so I needed Miles Austin to gain 9 more points than they would get combined.

Well.. we saw the 5 INTS and 2 going for touchdowns. Enough said. That guy had a rare-week vs me and it cost me a win XD. Still 3-1 though so I should make the fantasy playoffs, but still. Was like ARE YOU KIDDING ME BEARS D AND CAM NEWTON THIS WEEK FML!!!!! And Tony Romo missed Miles Austin for a 2nd touchdown.

My four leagues:
3-0-1-My matchup this week is with the only 4-0 team left, so If I win this league I'm way ahead of everyone.
3-1
2-2
2-2

EDIT: Also one of my teams put up 156 point(ESPN league), and that league doesnt use kickers. Its only 8 starters.
Roster I had was:

QB Tom Brady 37.2 points
RB Marshawn Lynch 25.8 points
RB Darren Sproles 14 points
WR Victor Cruz 18.8 points
WR Torrey Smith 16.4 points
TE Jimmy Graham 8.4 points
Flex Cedric Benson 14.4 points
D/ST Bears 21 points

Well, good news is Rams won. Bad news is, my genius pick up last week of Andre Roberts sucked. If I wasn't so lazy, I would have traded him.
