I liked the Kia commercial with the dream fairy thing and the Ferris Bueler one. Half time show was terrible.

She really gave a middle finger? Lmao must have missed that...

Speaking of the half time show what did you guys think of it? I personally liked it. It was a nice little mix of some old school and new school.

:phone:
Way too much leather involved that wasn't on a football.

Also freaky guys in togas too small for them.

Everyone knows he was trying to stop, right? The Giants were supposed to stop at the 1-yard line to eat up more time, but obviously that didn't happen. I feel like the picture would've been much funnier if the Patriots were the ones with troll faces and the Giants were with FFFFFFUUUUU-- faces.

Also.

I am getting some good chuckles watching people argue back and forth over on Facebook.

Yeah, that was very UnBrady like given how he's handled himself in interviews and such.

I liked the side by side comparison of Gronk and Hernandez...

-Gronk smiling and laughing-
-Hernandez "****in thug life." -

That last face is hilarious.

Oh! Someone came to the Superbowl party I was at with a Jets shirt. Except there were two pieces of duct tape on it. The one at the top said "**** the" above the Jets emblem and the one at the bottom replaces the "Jets" with "Giants All Day". LOL

if you get both hands on the ball you should catch it. i think the second pass of the last drive, the ball was untouched, went right into the guys hand, he started to look upfield and dropped it. no excuses at all

I dunno, that's a dumb philosophy, and this is coming from a guy who played receiver in school and plays receiver in tournaments. Some balls are tougher to catch than others, and throwing behind a receiver, causing him to stop momentum and to stretch out is asking a lot on the receiver. The QB is just as accountable, because if he makes a few accurate throws (Welker's drop and behind Branch) both are huge gains.

Edit: Last two posts starting with "I dunno" like a boss.

Brady did have some bad throws, but the ones on the last drive like Raptor said were easily catchable. One hit the Gronk like RIGHT on him. I forget who the other went to, but it wasn't as difficult to catch as Welker's drop.

welker's pass was a terrible throw, the guy is 5'9" and had to completely turn his body around just to get his hands on it, only megatron makes that kind of catch

hernandez should have caught a few balls thrown to him in the 4th quarter, those were well placed

branch's balls were terrible throws as well

brady is jumpy in the pocket against the giants, it's really easy to see that the pressure gets to him and it does bother him, it's not just blitz pressure, it's just a lot of it and the giants pressured him on 37% of his drop backs last night, that's the most he's ever faced

i think brady is losing his magic, sad to say, i like him as a player, his story is incredible but i just don't see the magic in him anymore

I dunno if it's Brady just being inaccurate. After going 10-0 in the playoffs, he's been very poor in the playoffs. In the Ravens game, he missed a wide open Gronk. The Denver game being his only exception of a good game. Otherwise, I think he has about 22 tds, and 16 ints after the 10-0 start.

In the ravens game...both the loss and this years AFC championship he was ducking phantom pressure a lot, the first one I literally saw him diving for cover on more than one occasion when there wasn't actually a defender within 10 feet of him. I think people are remembering him as something he's not though, the championship patriots teams had great defenses and vinatieri being ridiculous, brady was never putting up peyton manning regular season numbers in the playoffs or anything, the patriots were just much more balanced then

Anyone who says Brady is still in his prime or something like that is mentally handicapped.
maybe, it's the increased frequency of injuries that would worry me more than his play getting worse though, he still does "pretty good" when he's right but he had the knee and it seems like he always has some kind of nagging injury these days

I must be mentally handicapped then for thinking Brady is still is prime because he carried most of the weight this year and broke Dan Marino's passing record. (Yes, Brady broke it too. Its just Drew Brees did it a week earlier and ultimately ended with more yards).

I can't stand the Pats like most people, but you can't deny Tom Brady is a monster.

Well, his numbers were pretty average even on that 18-1 team. When you have Moss and Welker in their primes...hard to wonder why he is struggling so much in the playoffs.

Though I was proven right about Moss. He is so one dimensional that once corners and teams figured him out, he wasn't all that great. All he does is run the deep route.

I'm talking about the playoffs...that's what I've been saying the whole time in my previous posts. You could have even gotten that out if you read the following sentence.

A heavy reason why I hate boston, since I am a New Yorker.

The "Got Rings" for Yankees can only go so far.

Well, the new season is coming up and they definitely make it.

Also, with Rangers leading the NHL right now, they look like they may be in good shape to bring home the trophy. But then again, remember top teams don't always win the top games.

I'm pretty sure one of those superbowls was won more than a decade ago.
