I'm pretty sure he contradicted himself out of having to deal with the **** being thrown at him.

I've never seen anyone get trashed on so much just because he played gay. Not even blitz got it this bad, and he played way worse.

Just because you camp/spam/play "gay" for it doesn't mean its NOT a win.

Camping and spamming may not be very enjoyable, but complaining about it afterwards is just being a sore loser...take the lose and remember:

Wild Grizzlies > Campers.

This is funny. All I remember in melee is people camping the CRAP out of me. Only thing different in Brawl is that they took out movement.

The character I choose has nothing to do with the point I was trying to make. I don't think anybody should be hating on the guy for a legitimate way of playing, especially if they are fully capable of playing that way themselves and are willing to do so. MikeHAZE. <3 IIRC When I played Melee your lasers alone did about 200% a match.

The reason why you got the **** camped out of you is because you used a ****ty low tier, and that's what many people do when they don't know the matchup because they know they'll still win. If you can't see how that's relevant to your point, well, that sucks.

I don't think anybody should be hating on the guy for a legitimate way of playing, especially if they are fully capable of playing that way themselves and are willing to do so.

When it's turned into a moral argument -- which it always does, and which you just illustrated by using a judgmental phrase like "legitimate way of playing" -- then the hate comes.

When I say "legitimate" I mean, in loose terms, "something that shouldn't be complained about." My use of a judgmental phrase could not have illustrated the argument turning moral because it was never anything otherwise.

no, my marth's good. it's just not close to my sheik no matter how much i try, because the better i get with marth, my sheik magically takes a couple of steps ahead. i rly don't want to main sheik, but she wins, and winning is fun

guess i'll try fox again

my fox is actually pretty decent, it just lacks tech skill. i know how to play fox smarter than 99% of fox mains, and fox is so good it's fairly easy to make up certain things you're not technically capable of doing.

knowledge of the game > pure skill

and actually you can't really get around some technical aspects of Fox with "knowledge of the game." Doesn't really work.

dittos are dumb, the only ditto i like are sheik dittos and that was only because i had to learn how to be good in them cuz i main sheik (pride obv)

so in conclusion i am horrible in dittos and dont usually play em

actually you can, because there really isnt a lot of NECESSARY tech skill you need with fox. really, you need to be able to waveshine to a grab / usmash, usmash out of shield, angle your firefox well, shorten your illusion, and be able to consistently hit with the uair from a throw regardless of DI.

i can do all of those things except usmash out of shield and shorten my illusion (i can only shorten it to one distance perfectly =/). and obv i can't sweet spot the firefox perfectly, but it's better than your average fox (plus teching is easy with fox)

now let's hear your side.

i wouldn't do any of that against hydro kirby, considering who he plays with.
