Finally updated. Sorry for the wait. Been a rough set of months, with moving, work being overly hard, etc.

For the record, I try to have the franchise names as consistently listed as possible. Pokemon I'm not going to write the little é in over and over again. Just a pain. Final Fantasy VII gets its own slight difference due to being treated as a unique franchise in Smash, but other ones just fall under regular Final Fantasy if it isn't a debut character/clearly not important to VII alone. Chocobo, for instance, while notable among it, is a recurring monster. On the other hand, say, Zack Fair, would be VII.
