Well ****. I guess we're going to be in for an even longer month for FP5.



Next thing you know, those hat leaks were actually real but Nintendo decided to punish everyone by delaying the last Fighter announcement because of what happened.

Has Nintendo ever been this adamant and direct about unreleased characters not being included with the Hero/Banjo presentations? It just seems odd that they’d start doing that now.

They sure are reinforcing the fact that no other characters will be announced during this presentation, unless someone has an “objection”.

Yeah. Maybe sounds dumb and I don't know if they would go that far as posting an official tweet saying "no characters announcements" only for doing the joke of Phoenix saying "objection!" at the end.

But at the same time, I don't know why, I can see that happening. I'm feeling it.

Unless the leak was recorded a long ass time ago, it's extremely unlikely that either intended to be released with Terry, they wouldn't be testing them still when the DLC releases in 2 days.

I think you kind of have to be with a fanbase like Smash's. Like you need to beat it in that "NO this isn't happening"

I guess they haven’t really had to clarify until now, cause Joker was shadowdropped, we already knew Banjo was after Hero, and we already knew Terry was after Banjo. This is the first time a presentation is occurring without knowledge of who the succeeding fighter is.

I can totally see Sakurai say “By the way, I know you want to hear about upcoming DLC Fighters, and while we are working hard on new fighters, we are not prepared to show you anything at this time.” Then A big huge “OBJECTION” pops up on the screen.

Eager to see the Terry breakdown. I've been pretty eager to see how he'll be in motion. Gotten more and more amped to play him. Dunno if he'll become a main but I've been looking for a new character to tool around with besides Pac-Man (Especially in my friends lobbies as they banned me from using Pac-Man XD). I'm just enjoying the ride. Glad I'm not one to get too swept up in all this. I've enough stress in my life than to overly stress over Smash DLC schedules/announcements.

However I do hope for all yall's sake that something gets announced/teased at the end despite their disclaimer. Wouldn't wanna see half of the Smash Boards community simultaneously die due from withdrawal on news :3 <3

I swear to God if I have to get up at 10AM to watch a presentation that's 45 minutes of a single fighter when Hero (who has quadruple as many special moves as any other fighter) took only 20 something...

Alright this will probably be my last post for tonight.

With 45 minutes, it's the most jampacked presentation to date. I'm mainly hoping for an absolute shocker reveal with the last fighter not being Phoenix, Doom Slayer, or Geno. Instead, it's Zhao Yun from Dynasty Warriors, but not only that, it's also Yukimura Sanada from Samurai Warriors as an echo fighter. Of course, the odds are stacked against that being reality with what's been happening currently, but it'd be incredibly hype for me to hear it happen (and I say hear because my workplace allows me to wear earbuds during work so at least I can tune in to the audio). Unless we get a last second update from any credible leaker before 3 PST, I'll see ya'll tomorrow
