Just say no to noun-verbers. :-(
Another fun game with plank:
Why do you want your top 3? What reasons are they so high up in your list? I’ll start.
Freddy Fazbear- I’ve gotten back into a fnaf craze kind of and I kind of miss fnaf, also I think he would be very unique from a moveset and just his presence alone would make the game feel different.
Geno- The Geno thread is absolutely incredible and really got me hooked on the character, we have waited for a very long time and we are ready for geno in smash.
SACKBOY- OH BOY, Sackboys my most wanted because I really want LBP to stay alive, but also because Sackboy would be insanely hype and he’s my childhood, and the moveset potential is INSANE.
1)
Elenor Camuel:
We don't have any MM/C/ORPG characters in Smash yet, and PSO has a significant place in my heart and in history. It is the ORPG that first cemented the possibility of the genre on consoles, was one of the first games on Nintendo hardware to take advantage of online, and has defined what I'm interested in from an ORPG for years now.
Falz Memoria could be a great stage (or Pioneer 2 if they really want to go that route), and the music is phenomenal.
Elenor specifically is a RAcaseal, and stands as the most memorable and visually-recognizable archetype character from PSO to me. Being a Ranger, she could have a more interesting/unique kit than you would get from a Hunter, and there are a ton of rare guns with fun special abilities you could implement into her moveset (Snow Queen, Spread Needle, Dark Meteor, Drill Launcher, Samba Maracas, etc.)
2)
Kevin Keene:
Captain N was Smash long before Smash was Smash. All of Kevin's friends (aside from the OCs: Princess Lana, Duke, and Game Boy) are now in Smash, so it's the perfect time to bring him back. And it can serve as a means to reimagine and reboot the series (make it a Nintendo take on Kingdom Hearts or something).
Kevin himself utilized Nintendo peripherals as the bulk of his arsenal, and there are a lot of new toys he can be given to play with - A Wii Balance-(Hover)-Board, a Wii-U tablet that can be used to spawn items/stun enemies with a flash/etc, a ring-con that can either burst air as in Ring Fit Adventure or bind enemies... Lots of fun stuff.
3)
Haruka Amami:
Smash has yet to tap into the rhythm game market, the idol market, or the overarching waifu market, and iM@S would hit all of those, bringing us a character unlike pretty much anyone else we've had so far.
I'm open to most of the idols in the franchise as it stands, which leads into the next points:
a) It could potentially a Bowser Jr. situation with up to 8 idols getting in at once under one slot,
b) Easy, fun, and yet still quite distinct, echoes would be possible.
If you don't look at the potential for additional inclusions however, and just look at Haruka alone, weaponized tripping could make a comeback! >_>
Music-wise, you've got years of games heavily built around music to pull from, so there's a ton of fun stuff there.
You could also have a unique feature of the stage being that any idol there contributes to the vocals for the song playing
