Plausible, the fact that Ken is in the leak seems suspicious like mimicking the previous Ken leak but whatever. Could be modded as well since the game is out now, guess we will know in the next couple of days. The fact that the chosen costumes are Hats could be very well that they would be ewsier to mod.

Whatever, I'm staying out of this one unless confirmed by Vergeben.

Yeah. Smash Ultimate modding is quite easy in this time and age.

I need Verge on the phone or Sabi or Papagenos ASAP.

Who the **** is this chaotic evil leaker who decided to leak two different Mii Costumes both of whom imply two different playable characters.

So we're either getting Doomguy, Geno, both, or them as Mii Costumes along with these others. If both, is one a next season character or a bonus DLC? Since we're getting both leaked at the same time, are they both to be revealed together? If so, then that gives more credence to Terry being revealed later in November, to be announced with two characters.

Can Terry avoid getting overshadowed by Mii Costumes for one goddamn reveal?

True but Geno and Doomguy? Two characters that are hyped to the moon. People will go ape**** for these two. I just don't want people to get hype then turns out they're both Mii costumes along with these two in the "leak" or something.

I'm looking forward to and dreading the possibility of Geno, if for anything the reinvigoration of Spirit-deconfirmed and Assist Trophy-deconfirmed character threads rising from the grave.

That's their own damn fault if they go ape**** for something that's fake. I'd love Slayer, I just doubt it for now. Better to assume it's fake and be surprised it's real than to assume it's real and get mad it's fake

Oh nice, finally a new interesting leak!

I'm 50/50 on this:
-It can be real, the video looks legit and those are totally believable as Mii hats. If it's real, I think it's very likely that Geno will be playable, as part of the fighter pass or as an extra character I don't know.
-On the other hand, it can be fake... mods are a thing, and those models are pretty simple (similar to how it's simple to make Rhythm Heaven "leaks", because the characters are easy to fake).

I have a deja vu of the Bowser Jr leak videos from Smash 4, though as I said, the game is out and it can easily be a mod.

If Geno is in, I'm happy, and it would actually be the character I'm interested the most in the whole newcomer roster of Ultimate so far; my interest for Geno decreased a lot in the recent years, I went from "100% I WANT HIM NOW" to 65% at best, but he's still someone I wanted for a long time and would still make me happy.

Doom Guy I'm indifferent, though he can be fun if done right.

Good catch. The video stops right on that frame and it's quite obvious that it's a pirate hat underneath. So unless this is an early build they are testing the hats as placeholders, I'm calling it a fake. I'd love for it to be real though because Doomslayer and Geno are my top 2 picks now that B&K is in but I'll wait until there is further proof then a 4chan video.

That's what had me as well. If I were to leak something, I would leak a new stage with these Miis to add more credibility. Like when Ken was leaked, he was on the Splatoon stage which gave it more legs to stand on

It really doesn't seem like a part of a promotional video which is why I'm doubtful about it.

If it's legit, where it comes from?

You know, one interesting thing someone brought up in that 4chan thread: If Doomguy was in, then why is a Doom mii costume available along with Terry? Wouldn't something like that still be in development and eventually released alongside Doomguy later?

If you watch the video it's just the Cacodemon Mii picking up an Assist Trophy. It's still alive for now.

People are making a lot of assumptions about this content.

  • The presence of Mallow and Cacodemon hats does not confirm or disconfirm Geno or Doom Guy in any way, shape or form.
  • The fact these are being show now does not mean they aren't planned for later.
  • The absence of new stages, fighters, etc does not confirm or disconfirm new stages, fighters etc
  • All this leak proves is that there are Mallow and Cacodemon hats ready to release for Smash Bros. It does not give a hint as to when (which update) or why (to tie into what?) they would release

After watching the videos I'm leaning towards real. Though after the Grinch Leak, I wouldn't put it past Mariotehplumber to learn modding just to **** with us again.

Mii costumes don't imply characters.

It might be real. The Ken leak from last year had the 2:30.00 in the corner and the video here has it stuck there as well. This could be a debug build and this is footage from it.

Like it's been mentioned though, just because the Mii costumes are in doesn't mean the characters are in. Maybe the Cacodemon (and Doomguy outfit) is all we're getting for Doom content like how all we got was Sans and all we got was Goemon.

Well considering if these are real. They would be released with Terry considering they have complete models already. And the fact that if Doom Slayer was in, the mii costume would be released with him. I think it's actually a Sans level mii costume with a DOOM track.

If this is real, I expect Verge or Sabi or Papagenos to say anything, ANYTHING about it.

It's during these times that they have the final word on the leak, as with what happened to the Grinch and SNK leaks.

Do we have a Mii Costume from a company not already present in Smash that isn't the main character who also doesn't have a character in Smash? Isn't Sans like the ONLY one? And isn't he like the most iconic part of Undertale? If this is real Doom Slayer is in. Geno is a whole nother matter.

Just because they look ready doesn’t mean they’re with Terry. Some things get done in advanced, and based on stuff Sakurai said, they’re going along very quickly and ahead of schedule.
