When you say orange the first Bandai Namco character who comes to mind is Lloyd. He wears red but his whole color palette (red, brown, black) fits with an orange background pretty well.

Same. Though blue is the complementary color of orange, mind you. But mixing the red and orange...to me it doesn't look quite appealing compared to, say, green.

I could see #5 being KOS-MOS, and at the VGAs we get Doom Slayer as the first post fighters pass character

Everytime I see Doom Slayer as FP5, it breaks my heart.

By the way, for anyone expecting a reveal this coming Monday, I looked up when the reveal for Robin and Lucina back in Smash 4 was announced, since that also fell on a Monday. Turns out, that was announced the Friday beforehand, so something on this coming Monday is looking unlikely.

Most probably it was announcing that there was going to be a Direct, not the Direct itself. The same could be said.

Our girl is probably going to be in Ultimate. For starters, echoes are low priority. I still think they're going to happen eventually, just later down the line. Moreover, we now know that even if they completed Sumi, she wouldn't have released alongside Joker that soon because... well, there wasn't a way to properly refer to her without being wrong or a spoiler. Not even her codename. Coincidentally, she'd make sense next spring: 1 year after Joker's release, after P5 Scramble's Japanese release, and around the time P5R will release internationally. Maybe as a free promotional thing or preorder bonus or something. By then, we'll also know how Atlus will handle her post-P5R. And the general public will already know more about her.

ORAS is probably the best game in the modern Pokemon era and it's purely because Generation 3 was already great so even if it's inferior it's still a fun generation.

I'm not really so sure about she being an echo. I mean, I guess she could work, but at the same time and judging her from the footage we have from P5R, she doesn't fight like Joker.
Also, as a Persona fan, I don't get why some people want her. Don't get me wrong: I respect any fanbase but in her case we don't know nothing about her, at least until P5R released outside of Japan. I get she's in some way the face of Persona 5 Royal (mainly because she's the only new character added to the party, at least that's what we know for now) and looks cool, but beyond that...

I'd rather a Yu or Makoto/Minato as an echoes, if that must happen. I mean, as far as we know at the moment the both share more things with Joker than Kasumi does. With them at least we'd get more representation for another Persona game, P3 or P4 in this case. Certainly Persona 5 Royal isn't a simple rerelease and includes a good amount of content and new story parts, besides expanding the original story. But in some way Kasumi would seem a bit redundant to include, in my opinion.
Also, if she can work as an echo even if she doesn't fight like Joker the same could be said for Yu and the P3 protagonist.

Maybe it's me but at that point I would prefer including a character from a different entry. In any case who knows, maybe I will be supporting her after I play P5R (which I'll pick day one for sure), that could happen, but at this moment I'd pick the previous protagonists before her.

As day 2 of November goes on, the hype for Terry continues to grow. I've started watching a bit of Maximillian Dood's Terry Legacy videos to get into the mood and now it's turning into the Joker hype I had in April when I was binge watching Persona 5 LPs. He's looking to be my 2nd favorite DLC character so far (which for the record, Hero's 1st, Joker's 2nd, and BK is 3rd), and Fatal Fury's jazzy music is damn good.

Now I've started getting really worked up on hoping for the next reveal to happen at the very end of Terry's presentation. Somehow, the wait for the FP5 announcement feels a lot more dreadful than the wait for FP4 did, so I mainly hope for the next reveal to happen this month.

In the meantime, here's an image of Terry looking real proud of his son.

You should play Heartgold and soulsilver, that was a truly great remake. It's easily the best Pokemon game ever.

It makes me so happy that people are watching Max's series and understanding how awesome a character and fighter Terry is. He's definitely my second most-hyped character below Joker for me, especially considering I've been hoping he'd get in all pass. I can't wait to see his whole kit and what references Sakurai manages to squeeze in.

Yu doesn't use a gun, correct. But if Kasumi using a rapier instead of a knife isn't a problem to make her work as an echo I don't think giving Yu a gun would more problematic. One of the party members in P4 uses a gun as a main weapon, so he could borrow that from his teammate xD

TBH even if a BAMCO rep is #5 and especially if it's KOS-MOS, I would still expect another BAMCO rep like Lloyd/Yuri/Velvet/Heihachi in the post pass.

To me, these guys are just another reminder as to why I'd rather just keep third-party characters coming. Just look at them, they honestly don't look like fighters, let alone Smash material to me.

Why have these guys when we could have more brand-new franchises with way more credentials than just "new entry of a series everyone is already familiar with"?

He's the only one that makes sense because speculators have warped your mind on which Pokemon are popular.

To be fair, I wouldn't be so quick to dunk on the chances of the Sw/Sh starter final evos just yet. I mean, we haven't even seen any of them in action, and for all we know, they all could wind up sporting signature attacks and attributes that could lend themselves well to smash movesets. We'll just have to wait and see how they operate in their own games.

It would mess with my OCD simply because Pokemon is the only franchise where you can have a full 8-player match of Smash and have all the characters be from the same series.

Also, I was looking at the mural because I wanted to see where Terry was, and after thinking, these are the places I could see Nintendo putting new characters at. This is just because I feel like putting characters in front all the time just seems like a cop-out.
