Tbh, the 6th is just a safe date period prediction wise, so it wouldn’t automatically confirm any leak

Its almost like I can post something that I'd personally like to see, and someone replies with an irrelevant discussion/opinion that has nothing to do with what I post and insinuates that im some sexist hypocrite ¯\_(ツ)_/
Let me tell you a secret, my dear expectator:

You can just ignore a post and move on!

*audience gasps*
They're right though.
Edit: Someone quoted me last page and I'm not bothering with it.

If Resident Evil gets a character would you prefer the stage to be the Spencer Mansion or Racoon City?

Me personally I want Racoon City a bit more, mostly because the feeling of a spooky mansion filled with the paranormal is already something we have in Smash. A burning city filled with a horde of monsters crawling around the city seems more special. I'd also argue Racoon City is the most popular location in Resident Evil which makes it a more fitting stage.

You seem to be very VERY misinformed about the fan base. And even though the smash fan base is bad not many if any people were arguing against the people who were saying they don't want Minecraft in the game because of the fan base by saying that our fanbase isn't much as bad in comparison. And brutal attacks are something that doesn't belong in smash (cue scorpion Kirby saying get over here and using the spear to impale Pichu and do you guessed it get her over here) and there are probably more deserving Indies out there. Imo all of this obviously
Anyone who argues against Minecraft because of "the fanbase" is also misinformed and is quite silly.

Honestly "the fanbase" shouldn't be a point against any character, including Freddy. The FNaF fanbase doesn't seem any worse than others, anyway.

The possibility of Nemesis as a hazard is intriguing.

Wonder if Terry will have two final smashes
I think you mean at least two. Terry might even have pseudo Final Smashes in the form of full meter supers.

Anyway, as someone so kindly pointed out in the DLC female character rep thread, there's a retro NES character from an innovative game that's like Megaman meets The Legends of Zelda meets Metroid meets 1942/Gradius meets Contra.

Unfortunately, it's one of those late-life console gems that, while it brilliantly showed off the hardware's full potential and was way ahead of its time, it also faded into obscurity. There's a couple of fan-made remakes out there that tried to put it in the spotlight, and its gained a cult following over the years (rightfully so).

Conceptually, she'd probably please 2B fans because her multi-genre gameplay is the closest thing to a precursor of it (in fact, its also one of the earliest examples of a multi-genre game in general). Her arsenal is vast and pretty bonkers, too, so she may have some overlap with KOS-MOS fans (especially since they share a similar character archetype). She's a robot that can transform into a spaceship which is just outright cool. Why in the world hasn't this been picked and modernized? Seriously, adopt this Nintendo, or at least add the game to the Online Service line-up lol. Oh, and the music was good.

I don't see it happening, but I'm just throwing out another example of "this seriously should happen and it would be amazing". The more you know~

Easily Raccoon City. I'd be fine with the Spencer Mansion, but Luigi's Mansion already has a similar aesthetic and we don't really have anything like Raccoon City. Plus Nemesis needs to make a cameo in some form, and a stage hazard seems like a perfect role for him

Raccoon City is the place that makes the most sense to me let's get it but what music could Resi bring to the table a lot of its music is Ambient/Scary so how could it work?

I can see a remix of the Save Room song throughout the entire series. You can also pick some songs from the Mercenaries mode which are made to be more action packed. My favorite song being Wesker's theme, I hope this song makes it to Smash even though it's unlikely.

It's really telling when people constantly say "females" instead of women

Remix of the basement theme

But for real, there's plenty of boss themes that could work for Smash, such as Birkin's theme from RE2. The later games also have quite a bit of action-y music that could work for Smash as well. And of corse remixes of the more atmospheric tracks are always an option. If Beneath the Mask can be remixed to fit Smash, then the save room themes could prolly work too.

Which would be more likely: maintenance after or before he drops? If Joker is anything to go by, like someone else mentioned, they won’t do maintenance on the same day as the drop again lest they wish to make the servers literally implode
Bumping this question from a few pages back that was left unanswered

I think Raccoon City also would make for a better stage for Smash, the mansion would seem be pretty cramped. Since zombies might be a little gruesome for smash, the stage could be elevated up onto the rooftops of Raccoon city and in the background you could see the shadowy silhouettes of shambling zombies and other Resident Evil monsters.

Yeah although I am fine with Minecraft in Smash one of the reasons others dislike t was because of the fanbase

looks like Yoshi Clan from Yoshi’s New Island has competition :troll:

in all seriousness, this seems more like they just used the wrong instruments. The melody works better with different instruments, I’ve heard a fan made rearrangement of this that actually sounds effective
It was composed by a guy pretending to be deaf actually. I’m not kidding.

What's even going on here? It's like they got two people with no experience playing the trombone, asked them to play two separate pieces of music, and recorded the first take. This is the Doctor Light in Mega Man 8 of background music.
Someone smarter than me correct me, but I think there was a rights dispute that led to the soundtrack being replaced and farted out at the last minute on alternate versions. This was the original.

I can't believe none of you know about the legend of the Basement Theme. It's hilarious. Apparently the guy just lied on his resume and got people to do all his work for him and then took all the credit.

My guy, you're missing the point completely. You said you want genre-repping, I said don't feel the need for it and gave an example why genre-repping for the sake of genre-repping is hypocritical when compared to people saying we don't need females for the sake of females, which people do. It has nothing to do with "social justice", just arguing a point.

Case and point right here. You could literally replace female with FPS character.
Ok no, your not shoehorning in a FPS character because we have never had a FPS and they could bring new things to the table, FPS and female representation are 2 VERY different things
You seem to be very VERY misinformed about the fan base. What has the FNaF fandom done that was so bad? And we already have brutal attacks in smash anyway, (look at Ridley) and our fan base is pretty bad too(The Steve vs Banjo wars, The Waluigi fanboys(not saying all waluigi fans are bad, and even more)

BRO
you should heed your own advice then. if i wanted a clown's two cents ill go hit up mcdonalds

It has young children which many people find to be annoying on the internet, so people often act like that's what the entire fanbase is like and dismiss the entire series. People also do this with Minecraft, and Fortnite.

And R.O.B. them for two cents?

Well if we were to get technical saying women would exclude the girls since the latter term implies that the character in question is an adult, but since that's not what you meant, I have no idea why this word choice bugs you. I suppose it sounds a bit more robotic but still...

I think more games take place in Raccoon City as well.

I mean because it's mainly because it's filled with kids who post about things which aren't funny and are easily triggered. And I never said our fanbase wasn't bad and also I suppose if there isn't ridiculous emphasis on gore or brutality

I mean, I just don’t think a fan base should be the reason a character can’t get in, cause like u said, we already have bad fan bases of our own(Sonic, Pokemon to name a few)

I don't think Freddy, or any other character from Five Night's at Freddy's would be a good playable character for two reasons:
  • The animatronics just go "RAAAAAAAAAH!!" and then you die. How the heck do you translate that into a moveset?
  • The game's goal is to make you as anxious as possible, then jumpscare you. I don't think that translates well into a fighting game especially since the designs they would use for the characters aren't really all that threatening.

I think they'd unironically make great Mii costumes though, I don't know much about the series, outside of some vague info, but I think it would be oddly fitting...

This person has some ideas; not sure how good they'd be in Smash, but I think it's nice and interesting:

He also pretended to be totally deaf (he wasn't). It was a trainwreck that was years in the making, and he managed to out-disgrace Kenji Yamamoto (the DBZ one).
