I'm getting kinda sick of all the Smash reveals. If they didn't do it EVERY SINGLE ****ING TIME (and just saving it for the big reveals such as Ridley), then that would be okay. However, all of the characters with a reveal trailer (except for Chrom, Dark Samus, and Tr4sh Sonic) have that bloody splash screen schtick.

Hey man, people need thumbnails to put on their youtube videos when they re-upload those trailers for the billionth time.

For Terry: it would be 2D, a sprite of Terry In full color doing his stance when he grabbed the envelope, with his eye looking back at the camera, and images of 2D fighters are shown where his back is.
For King K Rool:
In the style of the hero vs villain images in his trailer, K Rool is roaring at all the heroes shown in those, with all of his villain comrades facing behind him.

Not sure if anyone's brought this up yet but assuming that the Blizzard controversy affects the chances of Overwatch characters in Smash, that means it also affects Crash's chances in Smash since Crash is owned by Activision.

Chrom and the other echos (except Daisy) also had this, they just didn't get any CGI trailer stuff, and also only got a generic "Joins the battle!" for their...uh. Verb.

EDIT: Daisy had her fighter number screen displayed instead, which has a similar effect.

Not sure if anyone's brought this up yet but assuming that the Blizzard controversy affects the chances of Overwatch characters in Smash, that means it also affects Crash's chances in Smash since Crash is owned by Activision.

It does not effect the chances of #5 since they wouldn't cancel a fighter this far in development. It could affect the chances of either character being a later fighter, but if Crash or Tracer are #5, then they're still going to be #5.

I stayed quiet when people were on about Hanenbow not being a garbage land, but this is going too far.

Hanenbow's single redeeming quality is that you can use the Battlefield and Omega versions as green screens.

Each day it keeps looking like LITERALLY Ryu Hayabusa are the only possible reps. It just seems like everyone's debunking everything else in place of Ryu and Geno. So literally it just looks like it only falls to a Ryu vs Geno match. I mean...there's Reimu but that was quickly silenced in here.

Like SMAASH! Puppy said, if Tracer or Crash are FP5, they're still gonna happen since they've been planned since last year. I'm torn on the whole "Crash is affected by the Blizzard controversy because Activision Blizzard" thing. It's very clear that Nintendo wants nothing to do with Blizzard right now, but I'm unsure if that extends to Activision as well. I guess time will tell.

To be real I doubt Nintendo sees Blizzard's situation as jeopardy to the potential success of a character so long as it doesn't release within the next few weeks. Frankly by the time the pass is over I bet there will be something new drawing everyone's ire. Because that's the world now.

Not sure about that. That one user who once dreamed about Piranha Plant being playable hasn't suffered from any of that so maybe people will not think of that post as anything but just a funny coincidence.

Ok new game! If you could design a poster for any of the newcomers in smash ultimate(Baser roster or DLC) what would you do?
you can get as creative as you want, I’ll say my ideas later.

For Ridley: replicate the Super Famicon boxart but with Bowser in Kraid's place, Bowser Jr and the Koopalings as stand-ins for the space pirates while Mario and Megaman stuck in between Samus and Ridley down for the count.

There really isn't any convincing evidence for who Fighter #5. Brew to me is pretty sketchy right now as he feels like Loz18 again. So we're going to have wait until the end of October/Early November likely to hear from Vergeben or VRPlant on who #5 is.

KOS-MOS is another possibility if you consider last year’s trademark filing for a still yet to be seen Xenosaga HD Trilogy on all current platforms...

It was a retrademark of episode III. Speculation says it is a HD collection cause episode 3 is probably the most important game in the series plot wise so namco would probably name the collection the Zarathustra collection or something. Just speculating but yeah just the fact they renewed episode III specifically says a lot about what is to come... not to mention T-ELOS was in Xenoblade 2 and also the secondary antagonist of Xenosaga Episode III.
