Have I ever mentioned how much I hate fake leaks? They're just cheap grasps for attention. Even worse is that fans of characters present in these so called "leaks" refuse to let them die at the slightest excuse, exhausting everyone else who wants to move on from it and causing a lot of unnecessary drama. It just makes me so angry. As an honest human being, I'd never go and do something like that.

Anyway the next character is Bubsy the Bobcat. I ran into Reggie at Burger King the other day and he told me himself so you can believe me.

Okay, that's all the insider info I've got. I've got to get back to playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf on my Nintendo 3DS.

I have a question.

So I am a slow gamer. It can take me 200 hours just to beat a game.

I have not played much games as a result. Does this make me uncultured, and am I wrong for this?
Terraria is an expansive game. I spent a lot of hours on it too. It's fun to mess around and take your time :)

To me it's not a big enough difference to outright say they can't do it during that time. Also it depends what they mean by 'finalizing'. But still, the claim lowers the credibility of the leak, but still possible they managed to focus efforts enough to make it happen.

The one more thing that goes against it though is that there was also the lockdown to deal with, which should theoretically make it take longer to work on the character.
You seem to have a penchant for arguing in favour of something so long as it's not outright impossible. But there's a vast chasm between plausible and impossible.

The timing doesn't line up for a second, it goes against precedent and logic, it's really dumb business to work on things you haven't finalized when you still have a bunch of other content you still need to make, the amount of information claimed by this guy is a huge red flag, and the post is gone.

Is this really a hill worth dying on?

Well yes, sometimes people try to shut out possibilities and it's clear they don't give it the light of day. If you wanna properly weigh everything you have to give it a chance too.

Personally when they said how much time it takes to make a smash character, I kinda called bs in my head. I think they were exagerating a little to make a point since it does take that long when you work on a lot of characters at once.

What else do people have to talk about anyway? I'm not a 'big' tracer fan, it's more because of how the leak was done that I'm curious about it. Would rather let it live and be talked about than find everything that 'could' be wrong with it to try to kill it from the get go.

Facts. Fake leaks are so boring to talk about.

The whole speculation on porn some time ago was dumb, and I hated the Grinch Leak.

I usually don't like leaks. And the grinch leak to me felt weird and I did think it was pretty fake, and it could've been a nice debate in a way, but I seem to remember it not being a fun time XD

I think the least offensive fake leak that actually got traction was the Rayman leak because it proved itself irrefutably false before it caused problems.

EDIT: So Rayman got his time in the spotlight, and nobody was clinging onto it for way longer than logical.

Would us not getting a Gen 8 Pokemon at all in FP2 be a bizarre take?
Wishful thinking perhaps. But after Byleth, I'm not getting my hopes up.

They could just use Soul Calibur 6 design for both. Since we arent getting echoes this pass hed probably just be an alt.
Honestly, if it came out WITH a FP character, I wouldn't rule out getting an echo in a FP. Kinda like how Simon and Richter came together.

How'd you get an accurate video of Overwatch's player base numbers dwindling?
Screenshot (18).png

Well dang, I know Overwatch isn't the most popular Blizzard IP, and that coupled with poor dev management and player hemorrhaging has left a bad taste in people's mouths, but I can't help feeling a little sad seeing one of my favorite games of all time getting trashed.

...at least it's not Heroes of the Storm...

Look, I've played many, many games. I pride myself on my extensive gaming knowledge. Most of the time when people mention a game, I've at least tried it or heard about it. And so I can safely assure you that it hasn't changed my life in a very meaningful way.

It's a hobby, if you enjoy it, great! And if you wish that you could enjoy it more, and you can change your schedule or habits to do so without negatively impacting some other aspect of your life, then by all means. But you aren't gonna lose internet cool points for not knowing as much about games as others; ****, some people play videogames for a living, you can't compete with that.

If it makes you feel better, I only played four videogames in all of 2017, and I can't remember what the first one was.

The sad thing? I like OW too.

But man, that game's balance is.... it's... something, alright.

Yah it's kind of weird. I stopped being interested in overwatch because I just can't do the whole 'teams' thing very well, but I don't know why someone says it's boring when it was clearly an extremely popular game, and pretty big competitively.

I'm gonna have to stop you there, because Overwatch's competitive scene is struggling hard. The Overwatch League (OWL), despite being created by Blizzard themselves and having tons of money poured into it, struggles to pull more than, last time I checked, 33-44k viewers on average. You would think that in a global pandemic, where everyone has free time to watch whatever, more would tune in. But in reality, views have been low for a while. People just don't care about seeing Overwatch in a competitive sense for now.

I heard they just kinda made all of the DLC characters counters to previous characters, resulting in a weird counterpick meta (either that or the old characters just couldn't compete. I don't remember which).
Well they did end up putting a system in that I hate, which is that they 'ban' certain characters for a time, in order for the meta to shift instead of stagnate. I just dont like that method tho, especially if someone wanted to main specific characters.

When I dropped out, it definitely wasn't the fact old characters couldn't compete. Reaper was top top. They made it so the game was hyper-hyper offense focused. Maybe it's changed since but idk. As someone who liked playing the more tanky/defensive characters, it got to the point where I felt more like a damage sponge flailing around a paperweight.

Oh, now, sure, but in the past it was, and to me legacy counts for a lot.
With Overwatch 2, I think there's new fresh grounds too to look at.

If only you knew how badly they screwed shields over.

So, if a lot of people don't like what they did with tanks and support, why don't they listen to fans and try to find a way to make it fun for them yet still balanced?

(havent kept up, just curious on your take)
i should sleep too tho. ill check things in the morning.

They do listen to the fans, it just that sometimes they take way too long in addressing these problems. Doesn't help that the community is also very bad in deciding what it wants. In addition to this, it is a known fact that they sometimes make balances changes in relation to pro players and OWL, meaning they'll push changes just for the sake of making pro matches more "fun and interesting" to watch, even if they're detrimental to the casual crowd that makes up 95% of the playerbase. But they have been getting faster at pushing new balance updates, so that's a good change.

Y’all seen this yet? Pokémon presentation might only be 10 minutes. Thought it’d be longer. Hope that means it doesn’t spout long and lame explanations on stuff and just gets right to the point
To me that's surprisingly long haha, especially if all they have is Crown Tundra (and that GOTCHA music video?). Maybe this DLC has more to cover than expected.

The Pokemon Presents on June 17th was 10 minutes and it had Smile, Cafe Mix, Snap and Isle of Armor. Then again, the one on June 24th was 11 minutes with Unite only. Wonder under which format this one goes.

Some guy is saying Tracer is in Smash?

Trust me when I say this while Overwatch is an iconic game now and is welcome to join Smash? Tracer would be a nightmare in Smash. Recall and Blink would be nightmares beyond belief to balance and good god she'd have potential to be more busted than Bayonetta was when she initially joined.

Eh, I dunno.

We already know Carlyex or whatever the **** it is has 2 additional forms it gets via bonding with 2 brand new Pokemon, and then there's the fact that there's just a vomit of Legendaries all being thrown at us. Coupled with the new Regis, the Ultra Beasts returning, 'maybe' some new Gmax forms, and probably a few other things, I can easily see this taking up 10 minutes, especially if they go into the 'plot' of Crown Tundra.

Hadn't seen this before and this alone is more than I personally expected out of the DLC (says a lot about expectations in general I guess lol) so yeah, 10mins on this will fly by easily.

There are soo many Legendaries, and Fossils, that the amount of new Pokemon you'll be able to encounter on the overworld is kinda... disgustingly small.

Like, not counting the 'new' Pokemon, like Regielec, Regidrago, etc, these are the Pokemon in the Crown Tundra dex

I don't buy the "leak" one bit but they could just rework those moves if they prove to be a problem. Smash is no stranger to creative liberties for balance purposes, like making all three of :ultpokemontrainer:'s pokemon share percentage.

This is kind of making me think of "Ridley would be broken because he can fly" arguments.

I mean Recall is literally her getting back health. That's the one I'm more so worried about.
