Ridley vs. Cell it is then I guess.
I mean, I did point out Ridley has traits of more than one.
The thing is, in most cases, unless a character was based upon another, they aren't going to directly compare anyway. Ridley is unique but has traits of multiple DB characters.
You could find straighter comparisons with DB VS Sonic, as Sonic was actually based upon the former multiple times. Silver is literally based upon Trunks(confirmed by the script's own personality description. Which is why there's time travel, etc, and why she's the same species as Shadow and Sonic. This also led to a theory that Silver is related to Shadow, but it's never been delved into in any official work), the same with the Chaos Emeralds and Dragon Balls, and I'm thinking Chaos Zero is based upon Cell, but a bit more loosely(Reptiles, though uses different power sources for evolving, and even the same final form naming scheme. They also both fight a legendary Super Mode of sorts, being Gohan and Sonic in this case). Otherwise, Tails and Krillin, Sonic and Goku, Knuckles and Piccolo, Eggman/Robotnik and Frieza(though Eggman has been a lot more varied, being more heroic at times. Frieza legitimately could be, but he chooses not to be), Shadow and Vegeta, Amy and Chi-Chi, and that might be it.
It goes without saying many don't have more clear counterparts; Rouge could loosely be based upon Bulma, both being more intelligent, but she's more into Knuckles, so it barely fits. And Piccolo actually is confirmed to not have a sex, due to asexual reproduction(where Cell gets it from, no less. Though only one lays eggs, which is how the Echidnas are born). Gohan and I forget Goku's other son don't really seem to have any. Nothing in Dragon Ball GT appears to be used at all(and I think that came after Perfect Chaos, who could also be based upon the dark dragons loosely). Metal Sonic is another without a clear counterpart, despite multiple Androids. Though the idea of having tons of metal forms and builds could be loosely based upon the Androids too. Another one we don't have one for Hercules, and there's none for Broly either at that point. Omga is the only one even close to the idea of Broly, but is just not that strong. Metal Sonic could even be loosely based upon him, eventually becoming his own person in time, while being controlled by his father Eggman. Android 18 also sticks out, as she has no obvious counterpart. Especially as Tails has no clear girlfriend at any point. He's shipped here and there, but there's no one obvious. Blaze the Cat could be the closest to 18, in terms of powers akin to a Saiyan, but she doesn't have an actual Super Mode either, so. The Super Emeralds may relate to the Super Dragon Balls, but I think they were made before the latter was, so maybe it's the other way around.
...The comics definitely have far less counterparts too. There's just a ton of unique characters with no relations. That said, it's crazy how much was created to be based upon Dragon Ball.
