I feel like he's just covering his bases. I still think not this week but next is the week to pin, if only due to it lining up with how the Amiibos are dropping worldwide. To be fair, it's not the first time pushdustin is pessimistic only to be proven wrong right afterwards
There was a problem fetching the tweet
For reference, Terry's presentation was announced 2 days later
I mean, the interview is in English, we don't need PushDustin's help on this one. There was a problem fetching the tweetIt could have been called "No comment" because of NMH3 amiibo.
He's normally pretty honest with us with his feelings about Travis in Smash but this time he isn't saying anything at all. This makes people think that Goichi Suda finally got Travis in Smash bros in some form, Whether this means a character or a mii costume is up for debate but I feel like his wording hints towards Travis being a fighter, hence the "BIG no comment"What exactly does Suda saying no comment about the amiibo... change, exactly?
Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. I mean when Pushdustin says "He might mean the amiibo is no comment and not the Smash inclusion", that doesn't really change what "no comment" means from Suda. Seems like a pointless thing to point out. He's normally pretty honest with us with his feelings about Travis in Smash but this time he isn't saying anything at all. Yup, Suda for years has always been honest about wanting Travis to be in Smash going all the ways back to 2009He's normally pretty honest with us with his feelings about Travis in Smash but this time he isn't saying anything at all. Ah I see. My bad. Yeah it's odd, the question was whether he wanted to see Travis in fighter pass 2. Probably misread the quote on his part.Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. I'm remaining neutral on the Travis topic, but him wanting fans to remain neutral has never stopped him from going on about how much he wants Travis in Smash, which to anyone would tell them that he's not in Smash, so he's not at all shy about this kinda stuff in the slightest. As far as I'm aware, this is the first time Suda was asked a question in an interview that essentially translates to, "Is Travis in Smash?" Every other time Smash has been mentioned is when he brought it up himself or when he was asked if he would like to see Travis in Smash.
This is less of an open-ended question, so I'm hesitant to say his lack of an enthusiastic and lengthy response means anything specific. It's a simple nine-word sentence that could be interpreted a number of different ways, including him genuinely not wanting to say anything that would make fans think Travis is less likely or more likely.
Wait, what's on Thursday? I know Saturday is the AoC stuff (which shouldn't interfere with a Smash reveal, seeing as KT will be the one to deliver those news). This week though, if Monday and Tuesday really are exempt from news due to Holidays, and then there's already confirmed **** on Thursday and Saturday, not expecting anything Smash related.
I think he's talking about some Dragalia Lost news... I can't see Nintendo caring enough that they would consider it big enough news to displace Smash or PokemonWait, what's on Thursday? As someone who thinks the statement means nothing as I remember Travis saying he thinks he keeps jinxing it by saying it in I believe a GameXplain interview, what purpose does it have to be vague? I highly doubt Suda cares about NMH fans being disappointed about Travis not making the cut for Smash because we're getting a new game that we've been waiting an entire decade for. Saying something that's a nonanswer wouldn't prevent expectations being raised or lowered, it's literally done the opposite effect and Suda's smart enough to know that, not to mention there's no bad outcome for lowering expectations in that regard. If anything, Suda said this to get people talking about Travis during a dry period of news as people are still very much left in the dark for NMHIII. There's also nothing that'd legally prevent him from saying Travis has no involvement in SmashAs far as I'm aware, this is the first time Suda was asked a question in an interview that essentially translates to, "Is Travis in Smash?" You're rightI think he's talking about some Dragalia Lost news... I can't see Nintendo caring enough that they would consider it big enough news to displace Smash or Pokemon
Fair enough, but has the Dragalia team ever had an announcement (post launch, at least) that actively took away the spot from another Nintendo game? You're right
But at the same time I'm not about to forget how we had BIG NEWS coming... and it was a ****ing Bakugan Direct either.
Okay, I am going to say this.
FP7 will most likely either be Travis Touchdown or Monster Hunter.
If I win, what happens?
I don’t think that was ever said to be “Big news”, or at least not from Nintendo. It’s just that people took what Nintendo said to be more of a big deal than it really was despite Nintendo literally saying that it was not from one of their IP’sYou're right

Look, Steve would be nice, but I don't see how he is likely as of now.y'all arguing the psychology of suda51, meanwhile minecraft steve is about to sneak into smash bros undetected
Ain't that the point that you don't "see" it? You all got tunnel vision and forgetting some sleepers that'll catch you off guard.Look, Steve would be nice, but I don't see how he is likely as of now.
Plenty of people were talking about Dragon Quest/Hero though, thanks to the "Brave" datamine leak and Tansut's info on ResetERA.EDIT: I should also mention that speculation is almost never correct no matter how many theories for the DLC there are, I’m pretty sure that 4 of the 5 fighters () of the first fighters pass weren’t talked about nearly as much before their reveals and surpassed expectations and I’m glad, so let’s keep it that way for these reveals. I want to be surprised, whether it be exciting or disappointment, I don’t want this pass to get everyone that people were predicting, it wouldn’t be as hype for me, so yeah.
That's why you'll...Look, Steve would be nice, but I don't see how he is likely as of now.
"He's too big!" -Look, Steve would be nice, but I don't see how he is likely as of now.
i think shiny meant in an arbitrary "microsoft already got 1 not fair they get another" type beat."He's too big!" -
"Too irrelevant!" -
"Too impossible! Too third-party!" -
Do I have to say more?
But given their good relationship with Nintendo, them double-dibbing ain't out of the possibility as a means and sign of their friendship especially given the cross-promotion and Minecraft being the reason for said relationship.i think shiny meant in an arbitrary "microsoft already got 1 not fair they get another" type beat.
I mean, I really hope Steve happens, but honestly, I see him as quite unlikely. That's why you'll...
...never see it coming.
Bored so I'm posting one of these, rate my taste I guess
That, and there are so many contenders.i think shiny meant in an arbitrary "microsoft already got 1 not fair they get another" type beat.
that goes for literally everyone else thoughThat, and there are so many contenders.
I know.that goes for literally everyone else though
How does a character from the first pass kill the chances of a character from the second pass?I know.
Also consider the fact that kind of kills Steve's chances.
I've considered and I think that's a dumb claim. Also consider the fact that kind of kills Steve's chances.
Hmm, that might have not been the best claim, but wasn't it difficult for Sakurai to communicate with Microsoft? Plus, Steve would be more expensive to obtain than Banjo-Kazooie I believe. How does a character from the first pass kill the chances of a character from the second pass?
How so?I've considered and I think that's a dumb claim.
