Well, I am not really opposed this, but what will happen to the Injustice games if Warner Brothers Games gets sold?
Much like the Arkham games, the Middle-Earth games and the upcoming Harry Potter game, the IP owner will still be Warner Bros. Any buyers would get the studios, but would still need to license from WB to continue those franchises (which is probably why WB is doing it, they get cash from the sale, plus the licensing fee, and they save on salaries and still get their IP out because those big franchises ain't stopping). So Injustice will probably continue, I think a third one is already in development and despite Netherrealm having MK, I don't see them abandoning one of the two series they're known for, at least not soon.

The only reason to think there wouldn't be Smash in an upcoming Direct is if you think Nintendo was going to let E3 come and go and only show Min Min.

Given every other E3 that Smash has attended, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that wasn't the case.

Ok isn't the official Smash JP Twitter suppose to post the next weekly event right now?

Hell, even when they made the weird choice to put Miis and Palutena in the spotlight while Pac-Man was shown behind closed doors, it was still more than one reveal on that E3.

Donkey Kong Country coming to SNES Online! I'm guessing this is what the 7/6 announcement was suppose to be.

Well at least we're finally getting DKC on Switch online. And that game the AVGN did a mediocre halloween episode about a few years ago.

He did it last October, not a few years ago. Regardless, choosing it as the next NES game to feature should make you go WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?

And the filthy west is stuck with some random wrestling game...HOOOOO boy.

...Well, at least as a small price to pay for the DKC demand finally getting through to them (even if it's only the first game so far).

Likely, due to being at the bottom of barrel for third party publishers willing to put their games on the service, I flat out don't see the service getting the major titles from Square, Capcom, Namco, Konami etc when those companies would likely make more money just reselling and then just letting be on the service.

Especially when Capcom and Konami have gotten big on the Collections; hence why we're never getting any Castlevania or Mega Man on there.

Even then, Nintendo still has a few NES titles of their own not on the service, like The Mysterious Murasame Castle. Even just adding Joy Mech Fight to the worldwide service would've been better.

so uh

i guess hotgirlvideos69 was referring to the snes stuff, just one day ahead of each "projected" date. new snes stuff announced today instead of the 6th, drops the 15th instead of the 14th.

Capcom did play ball though and let Nintendo license the Breath of Fire and Ghost & Goblin games on the service.

And then there is Square with the Collection of Mana, as well as the original Dragon Quest trilogy all on the eshop. I would be pleasantly surprised if any Square games ended up on the service and not just either in collections or gets dumped on the eshop for a flat fee.

A subscription service was on paper a good idea to replace with VC, but in practice has shown to have way more flaws due to most major publishers not wanting to play ball even if they did with the VC.

Or she just a clout chaser whose guess was only off by one day.

Be careful making excuses for people with spotty track records.

I'm still mad they didn't add Earthbound beginnings on the NES service and keep adding those games that nobody knows.

Nintendo Switch Online is now 15% worth owning.

Now where the heck are the other 2 DKC games, Mario RPG, and Earthbound, Nintendo. >:/

I was kinda hoping they'd drop all 3 DKCs at once like they did on Wii U, but the first one is a good start.
This trailer is still awesome btw

Ok something is up right now. It's been an hour and 40 minutes and still no announcement of the week's event.

Obviously Lanky Kong is going to be revealed in a shadowdropped trailer tomorrow.
