I'd love Edgeworth as an Echo, and I'm sure Sakurai could make it work... but after seeing some videos on how Phoenix Wright's Smash moveset could work, I think Apollo would generally work better.>Apollo over Edgeworth
Still I'd love if Fighter #5 came with an echo no matter who it is, the more the merrier.
Not exactly sure how they are good at keeping secrets when FFXV and the entirety of Shadowbringers leaked.
Not sure if this is correct, but I seem to remember hearing that Microsoft thought they had acquired the rights to Donkey Kong Country, but didn't. It could be that they were going after that franchise and hadn't prepared for anything else.
Err I'm not so sure, I remember there being a whole leak thread about leaked possible Square character on Smashboards before the game even came out.

Yeah I suppose it might depend on how Phoenix's move set is designed. Still I think Edgeworth is definitely out ranks Apollo considering Edgeworth is in almost every game and has his own spin off series.

Well, we had a bunch of deconfirmations for FP #5. Not only were there characters deconfirmed, but there were even entire companies deconfirmed for the next character slot as well. Most recently, Bandai-Namco and Level-5 are out of the running.
Nah, not as much as Dwarven Vow #7: Goodness and love will always win.
The joke is stale af but, bruh. What if it's actually the enemies we made along the way?
And let's not forget that Hero got leaked on January 3rd (via datamine, if you count Milk Bosatu, then it was October 11th 2018), that was a good 5 or so months before being revealed at E3

I think most Level-5 fans would rather have Professor Layton and most outsiders see Jibanyan as a Pikachu rip-off so discussion of him got rather stifled.
