I didn't realize until now that he voted to lynch me but he eventually revoted to Ranmaru and retracted. Not sure what to think of that but I suppose he's leaning towards scum to me.

So you think Shottymaster's behaviour is a bit suspicious? Don't you think his vote for you can be excused by it being so early in the game?

There are enough reasons on who scum and why and he's saying you and rest are pointing fingers too quick?

Are you basing this off of personal experience or something he said? Also, do you think that at this early in the game it be easy to claim that he's had a rush or has been rushless?

I think he'd be posting yes, but I feel like his posts would have less information in them and wouldn't have such a "why me tone to them".

I don't plan on asking them at this time as they've their own waggon now, much as I'd like to surprise Shotty with five or so votes against him when he logs on.

I think I've already posted a few reasons why I might do it. Trying to provoke a reaction from you is definitely not scummy in itself, and by getting a few votes on you I feel I've managed to provoke a reaction. If you still think it's scummy, ask yourself whether I was serious about trying to get you lynched, and whether I would want to try and lynch you in this if I was scum.

Secondly, can I get an opinion from you on someone other than myself/Ran? I can't recall you having talked about anyone else.

@o-Serin-o: Maybe Vinyl did just vote for you just so that you'd post- and he has now unvoted you since you did so. But if this was his only reason, why do you think he bothered to make a half-baked case against you? (#239) Couldn't he have said "i'll post reasons later" or something similar?

To start things off UNVOTE
- we are clearly out of RVS, so I will get rid of my RVS vote.

After reading through looking at everyone people posted the most about, aka Ran, Vinyl, and Kary, these are my opinions.

Ran
I believe, was trying very hard to get this ball moving. I am against a lot of his stances that he made on people. I also believe it is way to early to try and put a place for each player in this game. I'm leaning towards null-scum on him. I'll have more to comment on his actions with another player soon enough.

Kary
I don't see why everyone was getting on Kary's case.

Kary is definitely leaning as townie in my eyes. But all could change since this is mafia.

This was a tricky one for me, I had to go read through their posts a couple times. For now I'm going to say town, but the way Vinyl has distanced himself from Ran make me think they could be scummates. For now Null-scum

Actually Ori, it's the clear lack of distance from Ran that's condemning Vinyl. Between backing him up on his mid-accusational Vitamin push, reading him town, and refusing to give reasoning for it, Vinyl's been quite Ran's buddy.

Kary's suspicion stemmed from the apparent appeal to Ran to join an RVS wagon early game. Ran complied.

Now when I think about it, that's pretty weird. Of the three quotes you made, one was answering my question without giving a lot of insight, one was calling me on a joke, one was asking Aleate about something he said that seemed to me very flippant, not serious.
And of your messages to people, only one of them is really a question- to Ran, who's said he's not going to be around.

You made quite a reasonably-sized post, but i'm not sure that you've shown any opinions, other than (presumably) you feel VitaminC is playing town. Care to ask some more weighty questions, get a little bit more involved?

Alright, so I'm thinking a Ran lynch today is a bad idea. He said he had finals this week and next. That's all of D1 and more than half of the D2. Unless he sneaks in a few more posts, I don't think we should just condemn him. Not saying I'm not against his lynch, nor that I don't think he's scummy, but obnoxious circumstances are obnoxious.

Also, let's make some activity.

Note: I'm just trying to get something going, as we seem to have slowed down a lot. Feel free to ask me questions in return. As long as you answer a few of mine, anyways. Scummiest? I think I would have to go with Vinyl. He is becoming to buddy-buddy with Ran. From personal experience, I try not to make friends till at least D2 or 3. His method is both intriguing but confusing to me. He could be playing smart try to expose Ran, or he could just be Newbie-mafia trying to hold hands with his scummate throughout the game.

1. If Ran is the first lynch I would say Kary or Vinyl. But that would be based solely on who was killed during the night phase.

2. If Ran doesn't become the lynch target, I believe Vinyl and Kary should be the first in line for questioning. This is solely based off how I've read each of them in the past couple pages.

3. Kuzi is a damn good player. In a past game he was able to target the 3 mafia members in 1.5 day cycles. He shouldn't be underestimated a player. I am both for/against it. I dislike when there are people who are 100% unproductive. It impedes the town's success and is damaging to the game as a whole thats when I feel like that lynch is ok. If a person has a legitimate excuse for absence I am against the lynch. I give the inactives a Null for now. When D2 rolls around I will see how I feel about them.
