You didn't sell it well. Normally if someone were to counterclaim they'd be like: actually, I'm the town derp. This herp isn't. Here are my results from last night and here is where I crumbed this role. You were basically saying: Well, I'm gonna counterclaim because I kinda have to to try and claim my innocence. It's not true, but I'll do it anyways cause no one else is.

What are your guys' thoughts? I notice you aren't voting. What are your reads (if you're ok with sharing them). Do you have any plans on placing your vote somewhere? What do you think of AA?

If Marathon is lynched today and flips town, who would you look at as scum? If he flips scum?
If you were to be lynched today or nk'd, who would you look at for connections or as scum? (Assuming you flip town).

Honestly, I'd like to lynch Marathonman. That flip gives us some obvious reads on Sold2. Furthermore, it also gives some insight into Sokr and myself (courtesy of Sold's ISO). Gheb and Asianaussie are not affected, but they have their own dialogue which is interesting. Serin...is just Serin.

My comments on Sold's Tery-case:

Townie

• Active, shared quite a few opinions
• Brought up some good information, like Serin's flip
• Did draw attention to Marathon.

I think it'd be pretty generous to base on town read on any of that. Activity isn't a tell at this point considering nobody has been really inactive for longer amounts of time. Other than Serin recently, everybody has been keeping up with activity just fine. I don't really get the "good information, like Serin's flip" part - how can you hold that in anybody's favor when it comes to reading him? I think Tery's experienced enough by now to understand that providing information at times is a necessity and that it'd be foolish to just not share information at all.
I also know that a couple of people have brought attention to Marathon on Day 1 including myself, Sokr also had a case on him before you claimed tracker and I know there was at least one more person who had mentioned Marathon as possible scum on Day 1.

With all that in mind I can't just accept these things as pro-town but more as the pro-town that a scumbag will play in any case. Pretty much all of that is null in my book.

• His handling of the Ori wagon, just kinda snuck aboard it. Note: this may just be his natural hesitance
• Lending credibility to Marathon's counter-claim.
• Handed Marathon a couple of easy questions.
• This is really weak, but posted quite a lot of fluff just chatting with AA and stuff of that nature
• What a weird flip on Serin

Other than the weird flip on Serin I agree most of that isn't looking too good. I also like how you summarize your case into a short and concise format, which makes it easy to follow and comment on. Tery as scumbuddy for Marathon looks like a good lead for toMorrow and his last vote on him doesn't really help his case tbh. At this point he doesn't have much of a choice.

Consider my vote on Marathon obviously and toMorrow I'm hoping to see all option reevaluated in regards to whom his scumbuddy could be. At the moment the best arguments were made on a Marathon-Tery team but I haven't dug too deeply into a possible Serin-Tery team but that's roughly the plan we're most likely following the next Days.

lol I forgot the most important part in my last post: I still don't like AA a lot and I don't get much of a town read from what hes offering us. Right now, it's just that the facts imply that Tery-Marathon is more likely than AA-Marathon. Consider AA up there with Serin as a potential scummate but I need to see / find an argument that's stronger than the argument that suggest a Tery-Marathon scumteam.

Sorry Gheb, as I admitted in the conclusion, the Tery write-up leaves me confused on his alignment. Is why I asked for Second Opinion on it. At the very least I think I pulled out all the significant posts he's made thus far, organizational purposes.

Oh, this. I want someone to look at Serin. I obviously can't do this myself because I'm lazy way too tired working for the rest of the day. I've given him a lot of town points because me and him reached the same conclusions on a lot of topics, but he's also been off the marathon wagon and I think I remember some shenanigans with him and the Ori wagon. There's also that contradiction Tery mentioned, where he flipped opinions on Ori or something.

Tery is a good place to start, Serin is a good place to go, someone needs to be willing to consider Gheb scum. I don't know anything about Sokr personally other than he apparently thinks everyone is town which is a flag in my book. I kinda like AA actually but I haven't put much thought into him either. So in short everyone is ****ing suspicious go get'em guys.

I'm willing to end this day phase on that note, I honestly don't have much else to say and I really just don't feel like doing another write-up lmao. Someone else will have to do a look-over of Gheb, it's not that hard.

Waiting for someone to say "Go ahead" or like "Wait wait NOOOO" or something before I swing what I presume to be a hammer.

Okay, time to get the truth out there. I am the real Town Tracker, FUN da-Middles. I targeted asianaussie the first night phase and did not see anything. I didn't want to have to claim without getting a scum result, but Sold fakeclaiming changed that.

So I did do the things you said counterclaimers should. No I didn't crumb the role, but I didn't even know what that was until someone mentioned it. And yes, I am trying to claim my innocence. Sold claimed first, so I have a tougher time of making people believe me. And it is true, and why would I do it cause no one else is? As for selling it, I went with the best approach I thought I could take. I stayed calm, presented the information I had, and showed how Sold was scummy for the timing and manner of his claim and for the way he has played until this point. I find it a little unsettling how town has not seemed to have looked into that aspect of Sold, specifically the way he has played and the way he claimed. So before anyone votes to L-1 and/or hammers, just look over things once more.

Why would you counterclaim if you aren't tracker? Because Sold obviously got you as scum and that would be the only way to prove your innocence.
