Based on the final stage from Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem and New Mystery of the Emblem: Heroes of Light and Shadow it's the Dragon's Altar!

This was once where the Divine Dragon, Naga, sealed the evil Earth Dragons; but it now serves as the place for the resurrection of the leader of Earth Dragons, Medeus, who was defeated by Marth in Shadow Dragon. This time, however, he has come back as a even stronger Dark Dragon!

Fighting takes place on the large stairs and stair railings, creating a simple stage about the size of Battlefield. I'd think of it as Shadow Moses with the Towers (railings) being only 1/6 as tall. With a WAY less hazardous Spear Pillar mixed in.

Most of the stage's uniqueness is taken from its dark atmosphere and ancient ruins. It also has Flying Dragons flying around the top of the stage.
The lighting from this stage comes from the glowing torches on the pillars, the evil looking skulls, and eyes of the Dark Dragon himself!

Do to being not at full strength yet, he occasionally summons his army of Earth Dragons (the brown ones) to attack Players.

When an Earth Dragon is to appear, Medeus's eyes flash, the stage will rumble and dragon skulls in the background will glow and come back to life. Once they have appeared, they will use the dragon breath to attack for high knockback and damage. They disappear when the stage lights up and are forced back.

In the background you also see the 3 Princesses (Nyna, Maria, and Marth's sister Elice) and the Priestess (Lena) standing next to Medeus becuase his minions have captured them. But they are in a deep hypnosis, so they don't do anything besides being eye candy. :awesome:

Stage example:

_.........._
________

Stage Name: Dragon's Altar
Stage Icon: Falchion

Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem - Dark Emperor (Hardin's Theme)
Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem - War of Heroes
Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem - Divine Child, White Sage (Tiki & Gotoh's Theme Medley)
Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War - Final Chapter - The Final Holy War
Fire Emblem Gaiden - A Desperate Assault - Final Chapter Theme
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light - The Chosen Ones - Final Chapter Theme (Brawl Lost Tracks)
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light - Shadow Dragon Medley (Brawl)
Fossil Fighters - King Dynal
Drill Dozer - Skullker Factory
Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland - Deku Temple

Thank you for the backup Star, even I know it's not likely to happen, but oh well. :awesome:

We both lost many ideas over the past few days. Too bad Sakurai isn't that creative. XP

Oh and it's not FE1, but FE3.
Whoops.

What about this for a stage.

Laguz are fighting Beorc in the background but when stay longer you find Zeligus fighting Ranulf...and sometime some stray arrows can hit playes and javelins or something like that.
It's alright, but I'd rather not have weaponry flying into battle. It is one thing for the background, but another when it affects the foreground. Still, I doubt Sakurai and team will revisit the GC Fire Emblem titles. They will probably turn their attention towards the DS remakes and Fire Emblem 3DS.

last time I checked Radiant Dawn was a Wii title which seemed a little bit of it was out in the stages of the ending of Brawl.

Radiant Dawn was already acknowledged in Brawl via a musical track and I believe stickers. That may not be necessarily what you want, but it still counts toward representation.

He's a hell of a lot better than the DBZ support we get. I support Jill Valentine, and Nightmare from SC, I don't expect them, but I want them. I think Geno either does or should fall under that catagory.
Pretty much this. At least he looks fun to play with if he got into Smash and is eligible.

MetalEtemon for Sm4sh.

The best part is he is technically eligible.
I'd laugh if Digimon characters got into Smash or because he's "eligible" that gives him a large support group.

Shadow Moses Island (Brawl)
I mostly agree with your stage choices, but why would Sonic and Snake receive no new stages?

Why should they? Green Hill Zone is THE iconic Sonic stage and most everything else is only going to pale in comparison. Sure, maybe they could redo Green Hill Zone to make it larger or focused on a different aspect of the stage. Same with Solid Snake. His stage is extraordinarily iconic and is adequate as the the sole stage to represent all of Metal Gear Solid. Really if Solid Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog return people should be grateful they even returned to begin with. Having said that I do see their stages as probably receiving a better visual upgrade (ala Sonic Generations/Metal Gear Solid HD Collection) over other returning stages; possibly along with extra tracks from recent games post-Brawl. I do not expect much more than that.

For fun, here are the new tracks I expect to be added to Sonic and Snakes stages'. Note, these are not entirely what I want, looking at you "Reach for the Stars", but what I expect.

Sonic and The Black Knight - Knight of the Wind
Sonic Colors - Reach for the Stars

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Old Snake
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - Main Theme

FE11 is a remake of FE1 and Book 1 of FE3.

FE12 is a remake and expansion of Book 2 of FE3.

All of which stared Marth as the main character, with Caeda, Marth's wife, being the secondary main character.

FE11 was released world wide, while FE12 unfortunetly is so far Japanese only.

Note: FE3 Book 1 is a shortened remake of FE1, while Book 2 was a sequel to FE1 and 2. FE2 was just a side story that didn't even star Marth or Caeda and serves as an intermission between the main story line as it only makes up a few of the details of Marth's timeline.

As for Sonic and Snake stages, I still think they could use some new stages and GHZ and SMI could become past stages.

Personally, Outer Haven from MGS4 would be a great stage for Snake, while pretty much any Zone would work for Sonic. I'm just guessing, Casino Night Zone or one of the remade stages from Generations or a Zone from Sonic 4.

I guess I just see it differently because if those two return it will likely be by the skin of their teeth. The more pressing matter is balancing their gameplay. Extra stages and other content I see as last on the totem pole as far as the developers will be conceerned. It would be easier and less time consuming to just port their stages over and give it a make over according to the recent HD remakes of said stages.

City Escape stage for Sonic would be perfect, it would be a perfect stage since modern Sonic seems to be represented anyway, although Angel Island or Casino Park would be be just as good as well.

As for Snake, I'd say either Metal Gear Underground base, Dock, or Shadow Moses Island are all good enough, I believe they should get a new updated stage bit existing Brawl one's would be just as nice.

Yeah I agree, but still the more stages the better, and if they do return I have no doubt that GHZ and SMI will also return in some way shape or form.

Although, I do hope they alter SMI a bit to resemble it in MSG4, since chances are Old Snake will make an appearance as the default Snake or as a Wario style costume.

Old Snake should definetly be a costume as well, heck why not classic Sonic as well, just like Wario had his in Brawl, more should as well.

I was thinking about if the Pokemon series actually has 5 reps. Maybe...

Yeah one of those ideas was already thought up by Starphoenix, but it was an interesting thought. This also ensures that at least one Pokemon per generation is represented.

I'm pretty sure Shadow Moses Island will reflect MGS4 if it should return. I also expect Green Hill Zone to reflect Sonic Generations in detail. Even if both stages return they will probably receive a graphical overhaul. If for not other reason than for Sega and Konami.

Actually I'm thinking we could have six Pokémon characters. As I believe Sakurai and team will go back to having a horizontal alignment within the character menu. I cannot seem to convince anyone that this is possible without having to hear about how it is oversaturation. When I have statistically proven it is not. Oh well.

I KNOW YOU FEEL IT ISN'T OVERSATURATION, STAR, and you don't subscribe to that SENATE belief, but it's worth keeping in mind that Sakurai has said he does try to reach a "balance" with character inclusion. Pokemon already TECHNICALLY has the most characters in Smash and has had the most characters within the series (not important but whatever lolol). Raising the Pokeslots to six would seem to be PUSHING IT, don't you think? Especially when that would technically give it... 8 characters? 10 if you have another trainer?

10 Pokemon would be insane IMO, even if they are in the form of trainers and such.

I guess oversaturation to one franchise isn't good since other franchises obviously don't seem to get any at all.

No, I don't believe that to be the case at all. Even if Mario and Pokémon received six character slots in a roster of 45 at the smalles. It is less than 30%, 27 specifically, of the entire roster. Only about 5-6 series at most will be added to SSB4, each one only going to be one character solely. Really I think most people over estimate how many characters are really in contention. Buffing those two series does not prevent any of the other popular or surprising picks from making their way into the next game.

The reason these series receive the most is because the have the most beloved and widely known characters. There is no disputing that.

Well, I guess so, still it's up to Sakurai to decide and base how many a franchise should get, we can't say for sure what his preferances are.

I'd say Saffron City as well as Fourside would be spectacular to have, I wouldn't even mind having Final Destination from Melee as well.

Just to support your claim......
Brawl had six new series (Kid Icarus, Wario, Pikmin, Gyromite, Metal Gear Solid aand Sonic). Two of those were third party series.
Excluding Toon Link and ZSS, Brawl added 8 characters from existing series (Meta-Knight, Ike, Pokemon Trainer, Diddy Kong, Lucas, King Dedede, Lucario and Wolf). Only 6 series got new characters with Pokemon and Kirby getting two each.
In contrast, Melee added three series (Fire Emblem, Ice Climbers and Game and Watch). Series are a little harder with the clones.

Princess Peach's Sky Castle
Metal Mario Stage
Mute City (Melee)
Norfair
Shadow Moses
Battlefield (Melee)

I think SSB4 should get Metal Mario like Mario Kart 7

then when Metal Mario pick the Metal Cap , he becomes Concrete Mario
Concrete Mario? Isn't that an item box already? Anyway Metal Mario is already in game, I guess it's balancing and heavyness is really the only thing that changes.

Well it's nice to see another supporter of 6 Pokemon slots.

As for oversaturation, Pokemon was planned for 6 slots in Brawl, that's way more oversaturation the it would ever become in SSB4.

But at least Sakurai has stated that picking Pokemon characters is tough so that does raise the chances of 6 slots. Plus I don't think Sakurai will be cutting anyone unlike in Brawl due to the Melee clones, and SSB4 now having a longer development time.

Anyway I have class until 1 fourm time. Later.

I think Metal Mario should get his old themes back as well, from SSB64 and the Metal Battle song from Melee, also more past stage music should also be brought back as well, it would be a classic collection from all past games and would act as a tribute of sorts as well.

Well, I always wanted to see Giovanni and I'm at least expecting N to show in case Pokemon Trainer is replaced, I would mind if we got new starters as well such as..

Croconaw
Blazakin
Treeko

They would work really well, and considering it also has a 3rd gen rep, why wouldn't it be a good idea.

Wow, new starters would be cool, also why is it that Megaman still is considered when in fact he had his game cancelled just recently?:

serious question btw

Well, I wouldn't say that Megaman has been completly abandoned by Capcom, I'd say it's either a coinsidence or that it may be a publicity stunt to draw more hype, overall, I don't think it lowers his chances too much at all.

Well, like I said I don't think Capcom has been ignoring Megaman, it maybe be because of Infaune but I'm doubting it, if we don't get another Megaman titles then I can sure say that my suspicions are somewhat true, for the time being I don't think it like that though.

Megaman is just being reserved until the very last installment so they can have a character that will entice people to purchase a digital add on or third installment. Dead serious on this. It is sick, but it is EXACTLY what they are doing.

Is Capcom actually doing such a thing just to draw in more money? I don't know, it doesn't seem like a good plan to me, they are messing with people's money here, so much so that alot of fanboys have already started hating on Capcom just for it, I believe major backlash would occur if no new title ever came out.
