They would probably just go with Short, Normal, and Tall like in Mario Kart Wii.

I don't really see how a multiple weight class Mii system would not fail. It could lead to serious imbalances, whether hurting one or more weight classes with the Mii by making them too weak, or hurting the balance of the game by making them broken. It would really be a thin line for Sakurai and the SSB Wii U/3DS character balancers to walk on, and the would probably fail. On top of that, it would be like balancing three characters for them, instead of just one.

Here's some moveset ideas for Starfy based on what I see in the Abilities mode in the DS game.

Duck & Slide
This could be Starfy's Running + A move where he runs and slides along the ground. Animation example: King Dedede's Running + A move.

Star Spin
This could be Starfy's regular A move where Starfy just spins in place.

This could also be Starfy's Side + A move where Starfy spins to the side in a short distance.

This could also be used for Starfy's Aerial A move where Starfy spins in the air. Animation example: Peach's Aerial A move.

Mighty Star Spin
This could be Starfy's Smash Side + A where Starfy spins with more power to the side.

This could be Starfy's Smash Up + A where Starfy spins to the air with more power. Animation example: Luigi's Down B move.

This could be Starfy's B move where Starfy charges by spinning in place. Let go of the B button and Starfy starts spinning along the ground. Animation example: Jigglypuff's B move but he spins on his feet, not on his side like Jigglypuff.

Ultra Star Spin
This could be Starfy's Side B move where Starfy spins to the side but you can control the direction Starfy is going (forward, up, or down). Animation example: Meta Knight's Side B move.

This could also be Starfy's Up B move where Starfy spins to the air. You can also control the direction Starfy is going (up, left, or right). Animation example: Meta Knight's Side B move but vertically!

Shooting Star
This could be Starfy's Down B move where Starfy divebombs to the ground. Animation example: Yoshi's Down B move.

Low Spin
This could be Starfy's Smash Down + A move where Starfy lies flat on the ground and spins in place. Animation example: Pikachu's Smash Down + A move but without electricity.

The one problem I see with the Mii's inclusion is that their simplistic design would clash with Smash's aesthetic. I'm not sure how practical it would be to have updated models for them? It'd be necessary to give them their own Smash-specific body, which I WOULD IMAGINE would follow the general aesthetic of Smash, BUT THAT HEAD WOULD THROW IT ALL OFF...

Yep. He'd probably be lightweight with a couple of reliable killing moves. Poor shield, though.


It ain't dead yet, in fact it's just getting started. When it goes to evening, it becomes busy as a mofo in here, and SSBF and JavaCroc both usually make some pretty nice-sized posts when they arrive, so it might take a while for any posts to show up.

I said the same thing some time ago, lol.

Since his weapon is a gun/sword, I think they should be incorporated into his normals instead of only ONE Special since it's not like he's pulling out a different weapon for it.
